UNI-T UT383BT Lux Meter Video to help determine distance/par value

Have watched this video and thought it might help out others like me that are attempting to make the transsition from HID's to LED's or to people who are new to LED's to help measure the par values of their canopy. Here's the video -

picked up the meter on ebay for less than $20.

hope it helps some - don't have $300+ for a light meter - hope this works as good as the video says it does

I'm a big fan of that meter.

I've attached a document I wrote to help with the conversion from lux to PPFD.

If you've got an app that does the conversion, great. If not, pick out the type of light that you've got from the table in the document and you'll see the PPFD values for the different lux values.
