Lexington, Ky. — On Thursday, August 11, the UK Industrial Hemp Research Farm will open to the public for its industrial hemp research field day.
The event is free, and will run from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The day will include tours of various research field plots, and feature speakers who are at the forefront of research and industry.
Coffee and donuts will be offered at 9:00 a.m., with introductory remarks following at 9:30 a.m. Research tours will operate from 10:00-noon. The day will finish with a lunch meal and closing remarks.
The UK Industrial Hemp Research Farm is located at 3250 Ironworks Pike in Lexington.
