Two Arrested in Upstate Drug Bust

Police arrested two upstate residents early this morning after seizing nearly 100 marijuana plants from an Albany-area home.
Twenty-one-year-old Kristopher Wacikowski and 19-year-old Nicole Blond both face felony drug possession charges in what authorities say was the biggest marijuana bust in the town of Waterford's history.

The bust yielded thousands of dollars worth of marijuana, as well as a variety of growing equipment including lights and heaters, bags of soil and a humidifier.

Wacikowski and Blond are being held in Saratoga County Jail on thirty thousand dollars bail tonight. Police say more arrests are expected.

Anything north of new york city is upstate. It just works easier that way. I find that a lot of people from different states seem to always think I'm from new york city when I say I'm from new york.
