Twilight's Spider 4 Review

I've been on 420 for a few years & have been growing, well for a day or 2. Everyone knows I was a big HID fan. Lots of great bud with HPS/MH.
But, the age of LED is upon us so I ventured to try out the Spider 4 by Twilight. Jason from Twilight was a HUGE help & their customer service was the best.

So, I started my gals under a 400w MH, but switched to the Spider 4 when it arrived.

I don't bs & don't need to impress any sponsors or companies. So you should know that I saw immediate changes in the plants. Some were due to the lack of heat from the previous MH. The immediate changes were that the plants & roots kicked up a gear in only about 3 days. That convinced me to lose the MH. At this point, I was still very green to LED so I didn't know what hardcore vegging would be like under the Spider.

The vegging phase was pretty impressive. Compared to the 400w MH, I had 15% more growth. The colors, trichome production, & overall health of the girls were outstanding & effortless.

As you can see, the flowering stage was pretty nice. I got a 12% hike in cannabinoids from the Spider. I would recommend the 60° lenses also

Do I recommend Twilight & their fixtures?
Absolutely! Pics don't lie...
 
The fixture covers a 3' x 3' pretty well. Any larger & you'll need to bump up a size or use 2 fixtures.
I was very impressed with the COB lenses & am planning on getting the Spider 9.

Beautiful entry for NotM man. Ya got my vote.
 
Yeah. I kept them in 24 hours of dark for a day then flipped them.

Instead of the usual week to 10 days, I had bud sites almost immediately. Flowering time was about a week shorter than my 600w Cooltube.

(4) Spider 4's in 49 ft2 is going to impress you I bet. Man, I want an invite to that grow.

I'll add that there is no veg & bloom switch like other LEDs. But, these are cob lenses & can be switched out for various intensity.
