Trying to design a hydro system

I am looking at building hydro system with 6' pipe if that is large enough or would i be better of looking trying to do something with buckets. I am both master plumber and electrician and am pretty good with power tools so If someone has some ideals I am all ears!

I am on tight budget as herbies got me in the pocket pretty hard. Even though
I fell like a kid in a bong, mm I mean candy store.

I scored some really good water filtration system from work as they are all going to a specif brand and getting rig of these Awesome 3 stage filter, well 4 stage,1 course 100ppm, 50, and 5 Plus a poly polycarbonate I wont be needing.

I saved some top quality bag seed and I will take 2 from one of my packs I ordered and do a double test. Two bag seeds in soil 2 in water and the same with of the Vision NY Diesel Feminised Seeds . My last grow was as at least as much satisfied and the green ass oven and microwaved bugs :sobaad: but at the time onlu good info was high times. I still have co2 regulators somewhere but need a good way to regulate flow properly as a co2 pmm sensor and solenoid. Lat time I grew I found it so amazing MAking little changes and the next day rushing home to see them.

Has anyone tried building a co2 gen with a pilot TUBE and LP BOTTLE? I am putting all of my stiff on a shunt trip breaker.

Also need good Ideals for pump timers and good budget nutes. This will be poor boy #1 grow. 2

so far 2x65W 6800 CCFL, 2 x 105 w cfl5500k, and 10 52w cfl's.
I have a box of special t8 bulbs that the place i work no longer uses but paid like 400$ a box for proper color index - 40 Watt Verilux Instant Sun Fluorescent Tube, 48" Length - Amazon.com,
6 t4 ballast and
4 4xbulb t5 ballast with 32 542ho bulbs.
and hids from 70w hps , 150-175mh, 250, 328 ND 400Ws an bulbs but none for 600waters yet
up to 1500kw mH sportscasters

This stuff was all trashed by them, I watched a buy but less than 4 pallets of 32w t8 bulbs get thrown in dumpster and beat to death with backhoe bucket cause he place i work would have to spends lots to dispose of nearly 7k 32w t8 as they have heavy metals in them. The replacements were same thing except a 25w variant...

Ok, you talked a lot about the lightning equipment (which is a lot, by the looks of it), but first thing first...

I run a dual hydro system, one for my veg and one for flower, and I also do small changes every now and then for the past year, so no two cycles have been alike and I'm still experimenting. So maybe I can help you.

The first thing you need to figure out is where in you house you're gonna have the grow, once you pick a spot you have to take all the measurements and write them down.

This is your start point, now that you have a spot you have to look into the basic requirements, i.e light and air.
So now you have to design a system to bring fresh air into the room, exhaust hot air out, and block any light that may come from or leak to, the outside.

Now you can start designing the hydro system. Keep in mind that the spot you pick must have an easy access to a water supply and drainage. Being that you're a master plumber you should have no problem figuring this one out.

There are several hydro arrays that you can choose from, some are more expensive than others but not necessarily more effective or efficient. So now that you have your spot, you need to figure out how to optimize you available space. This means choosing the correct system for you. Another thing to keep in mind is much maintenance time are you willing/able to put into it.

So, choosing a system.
I think that the first thing here is to plan on how much money you want to spend monthly (nutes and power, basically) and with that in mind, what's the yield you expect to get or need to get to fulfill your meds requirements.
The initial setup is always the more expensive part, after that is just paying your electric bill and don't run out of nutes.

To give you an idea, I spend about $50 on electric a month and about $30 on nutes (nutes are twice as expensive here as they are on the US) and my yield should average around 250-300gr every cycle (two months) but I still haven't run the system to its full capacity so this is speculation (based on good calculations) at this point.
So the cost of producing one gram is about $0.20 or so. I couldn't say what was the actual cost of the initial setup because I've changed many things over the past year (including one full system switch, basically throwing away 95% of the systems are starting fresh) but for what I have I'll be in the $1,200 ballpark probably.

Some systems are easy to maintain and other are much more cumbersome and require a lot of upkeep. Usually these are the system used by professional who grow pounds and pounds for commercial use.
For a house system which is just going to be for you, I'd recommend a simple system for obvious reasons.

Instead of describing my system, here's a link to my journal. There I explain both my systems and there are videos as well so you can actually see how it works.

Any help you need designing your system I'll be happy to assist if I can.

Good luck and happy growing!
