Tristick - is it of any use?

Bought tristick vaporizer for gift. Video shows being able to use oil, wax and weed. Dispensaries say won't work for oil because of too many fibers, and bud doesn't burn. Expensive gift and not working. Anyone have success?

Or are you just going on what the dispensary says ?
