Trimming leaves

I have some really large fan leaves, and in my first two grows I trimmed them. In this grow am doing the same . Cutting them seem's to let more light get down to lower bud's and they seem to grow bigger . does anyone else do this, or am i wrong for cutting them?

Touchy and personal subject that I don't think has a wrong answer. I personally do and do it pretty heavy in veg and flower with great success. I'm sure I would have just about the same if I didn't.

Both ways have their advantages and drawbacks. This is the most debated topic on this forum. Just do what makes you happy, worst thing you'll do is grow some weed.
