Absolutely.
I remove everything below the light line.
It’s just a waste of energy for very little benefit.

I would. Gonna help with air flow as well. Once those buds start getting fatter you'll need better air circulating between those colas to help avoid any mildew, etc.

All the above, i started out being very gentle with my trimming, and it hurt my harvest, i give em a trim when i flip, then again at 3wk point after the stretch, i hit em hard on the 3wk stretch point, below the buds, get rid of all the popcorn buds and leaves….
