How long does it take the trichomes to go from being cloudy to being amber colored after entering the flowering stage? After 7 weeks I only see a handful of amber trichomes.

You only want to see a few amber trichomes.Amber is bad it means the thc has changed to cbn which is not very active.This whole idear of growing cannabis until it begins to lose its potency is pointless harvest when they are mostly cloudy before they degrade to cbn.

I plant 'Low THC High CBD' plants. I generally want a lower THC.
most harvest at about 10% amber. it's a good number for new growers to shoot for.
some sativas won't amber much if at all and can be taken when milky.

I know the percentage I want (10-30%) I just want to know how long it takes to go from cloudy to amber.
need to ask the plant. it's all genetic. they work on their time not yours.
