Anyone out there have good knowledge on when to harvest according to trichome color particularly to get the highest CBD content?

I don't know if trichomes have anything to do with cbd content but I do know clear trichomes mean too early, cloudy trichomes will give you more of a head high and amber trichomes will give you more of a body high. I hear most people like

It was my understanding that An amber thricome is an over ripe thricome, CBG is the precursor to THC and CBD, THC/CBD convert to CBN if flowered past there prime. Just looking for others peoples experience after testing etc
Sound about right! A plant can only produce what it is genetically available to it. So if a plants genetics limit the CBD content to 1% you won't get more than that period. But yes as the trichs age the CBD content rises so if it's CBD you're after, look for lots of amber .

Amber is not over ripe, you want some amber. That's what the whole 60/40 is

Amber crystals are crystals that are in degradation this is not a bad thing Nora good thing it all depends on what you like to smoke
Amber trichs are degrading thc into other compounds. These other compounds have more sedative an analgesic effects.
