How much water should I use to water in my photoperiod cannabis plant when going from a 3 gallon grow bag to a 5 gallon bucket?

My method is to add enough water to your mix and mix it well before transplanting.
It should give only a few drops when you squeeze a handful. A day or two after transplant is when I'll water until a little runs out the bottom.
This is just my method, I'm sure others will have different methods.
