A Topping Question

I topped my great white shark at the same time as i topped my white widow, Now the great white shark has gone insane like its dunked a load of steroids down its throat but the white widow on the other hand has well, kind of gone slow and stopped, it doesnt look like its wilting or no yellowing of leafs?

Its been a week since it was topped, Can anyone shed some light on whats up? Do some strains respond better than others to topping?

different strains take to stress differently.
i also used to top, till i found out the proper bending method.
check my photos, the newest ones ate of plants just 45 days old.

did you or do you use a super thrive vitamin-b. i have very little problems with anything that usually plagues the grower.

is there much yellow in the leaf?
i didnt see that the first time.
some cannabis plants dont handle stress very good, while others thrive. i do believe the grower plays the most important role when it comes to topping. topping then rushing to finish the plant has a negative effect on the end result.
have you ever played with bending, believe me i know how silly or stupid it sounds!
ill be a monkeys uncle if it dosent do wonders. each branch will hold its own bud, without having to support it. huge buds!!!
all around in my opinion a better way. no stress to the plant so the flow of neuts and water is un interupted for a more sustained grow. the less the stress the better the bud. without a freakin doubt!!!

my first scrog i struggled to fill the screen due to how i could only bend the plant one way, so one side filled up faster.

so, i thought of 2 different options..

start the plant on one side, and bend it to the other side,

or top it and get one top going one way, and one top going the other.

i have tried the first way i mentioned quite a few times with great success, and now im trying the second way.. but instead of topping, i FIM'd it.

poor little girl is stressed to the max, not only did i FIM it, but i didnt realize slime was taking over my DWC.

long story short, shes just starting her recovery from being dunked in deadly concentrations of 30% h202, then sitting in high h202 dosed nutes for a week, and the ripping of many roots while i tried to get rid of all the slime, and the FIM cut ontop of all that.

anyways, i think this is going to work very good, she got nice and bushy, and has already started shooting up her lower branches. by the time the top makes it to the screen, the side branches will almost be there to.

so all in all, i think topping/fim in smaller amounts, and bending the plant around, can both be used at the same time very effectively, depending on what you are planning to be of course.

ill probably be starting a journal once she hits the screen :)

is it possible to rotate the plants. i rotate mine every morning. it seems to help with the branches that look small from low light. have you ever bent all the branches?

rotating wont harm anything, will help get even growth.

and yes, i bend all my branches so that they receive max light. like i said, i do a ScrOG. which consists of weaving every branch through a screen all the way into flower.

when i bend i bend them almost all the way around, 180 degrees. its a trained thing. dont try it on a flowering plant. to some extent you can maybe 90 degrees. it releases hormones in the plant. the effect is absolutly crazy!
