Topping/Mother Plant Q

OK, I've got six plants (got them as babies from my friends, he said they were 'dog poo' strain)....I didn't get clones when I should have because I didn't have a place for them, and there was not many lower limbs, because I didn't top...I'll do better next time, but......

I want to save a couple for mother plants.
A. Can I top her off when I harvest?
(seems like the top is all bud)
B. Can I cut, or should I, her mid lower brances where there are buds blooming?

Will she survive?

you can take clones from a flowering plant, IMO roots will take a little longer to form, but then it will take longer to get back to veg too,, first few sets of leaves will be weird 3-leafers..

take a couple of small clones from the lower branches, one with a little popcorn bud, you don't need much,, just a little off the top, and include a couple of sets of leaves...

They look like they will take alot of stress when I harvest, will they survive a good wacking?

are you wanting to harvest, then put the plant back under light to reveg? it can be done, but I hear it takes way longer, would be better to try to take a couple of small clones, then harvest her,, IMO anyways
