I've done both top and FIM.
The only advantage I've found is you have less veg time prior to fimming than topping.
Once the deed is done recovery and growth are identical imo.
Just takes a little longer to grow before topping compared to fimming.
My 2 cents. Beautiful lady, she will be a beast.
