Almost 14 week into flower, one and only girl got a slight case of mites tryin to control with tobacco juice. thinkin about toppin her big fat ass,she's as big around as a ball bat. here's the plan that I need help with if I top her I'm gonig to dip her in a bucket of juice hopefully this will kill the mites. has anyone ever done this?? PEACE...

no, there are less drastic things to do first! you can wrap some masking tape around your hands and pat the bud down to get some of those mites off. you can top her and then vacuum it to get more off. you can hang her upside down and the little buggers will try to climb to top of the stem. i have heard to put vaseline on the outside of the stocks when hanging them and it is supposed to catch some more of them. NO JUICE! the juice will ruin the bud at this point in time. a quick bath under very cold water stream will flush a lot of them off too. be careful of getting your bud wet thou at this point. watch for rot. peace & luck to you brother

If I top her and do nothing what will happen to the mites?? Will they stay on the bud until its dry and smokeable?

they bugger off slowly. when their food supply "dries" up they tend to move on

14 weeks in flower? Sounds like my kind of strain.

I'm surprised that you've got a mite problem that late - a lot of them tend to get "stuck" and die.

I'm going to let her ride for another week..just gave her a shot of molasses & water lets see if that will fattin up her ass alittle more.. the bottom half is light weight. also I've been wipeing the leaves by hand to kill the mites and it has helped...Peace.
