Voters in Washington state and Colorado voted to legalize marijuana in their states in November. Now supporters are planning similar campaigns in other states, including Oregon and California. Should Florida join the party? Some states, including California, have legalized marijuana for medical use. A group in Florida has been seeking its legalization here for the same limited purpose. But in Washington and Colorado, people 21 and over will be able to purchase pot from state-regulated stores and smoke it for recreational purposes. Supporters of legalization argue that pot isn't as harmful as other legal substances, like alcohol and tobacco, and states could make big money by taxing it. Opponents disagree, contending that pot is bad for both mental and physical health - especially for kids. Which side has the better argument? Talk about it!
