Announcement: There's Gonna Be a New Sheriff in Town
Xavier "Dorothy" Small-Lenart — MERCY Associate, Patient, CareGiver,
Activist, NORML Person and Organizer of the Sweet Home Patient Resource
Network -- will be announcing her candidacy for Sheriff of Linn County
on Wednesday, March 3^rd at 10:30am at the Courthouse in Albany.
She is running on a medical cannabis platform under the motto, "at least
she'll go after real criminals". This is in response to the current
sheriffs proclivity of targeting legal patients for the apparent purpose
of campaigning against I-28, as well as to discredit the program and
repeal of OMMA in general.
Come see her toss her hat into the ring at 333 Broadalbin St SW (nr 4th
Avenue), Albany, OR, 97321-2247, where we'll start rallying at 10am.
MERCY-TV will be there to record this historic moment and interview
peoples reactions, while volunteers work the crowd educating,
enlightening and empowering at will.
Ms. Lenart will be making a full statement at that time and we'll get it
all down and to you, the people. Learn more at the next gathering of
Sweet.Net, which happens every 1st Monday of the month (except
September, no meet) at 7pm at the American Legion Hall in Sweet Home,
Oregon, USA. For map and directions to Sweet.Net -- the Sweet Home
