Hello everyone! Been growing for a couple successful harvests and have followed this site for years. It just dawned on me recently how sad it is not having documentation of the nice little plants I've grown, and so here I am! Feel free to join me along the way. I intend to post quite frequently, but as i am a father, I've got a lot on my plate. So bare with me everyone :).

Alright, so here's some background on past grows.

Most recent: Outdoor [Soil (Miracle Grow)]
1x Bubba Kush [2 gallon]

1x Orange Cookies [5 gallon]

My latest grow consisted of a reveg'd Orange Cookies Mother and a Bubba Kush Bagseed seedling. Throughout the grow, i came across a few issues but nothing too detrimental to the process. Fungus gnats, aphids, and the worst one was caterpillars due to being on vacation for 2 weeks+. As soon as i caught wind of the issues, i meticulously went through my cookies and eradicated the green tubelets of terror, which allowed me to have a smooth rest of my grow season. As the miracle grow had a decent balance of pre-existing nutes, i never wound up needing to supplement. The overall final yield wound up being roughly an oz per plant, however i left quite a few buds on the plants to reveg.

So here we are today and I'm looking at 2 new seedlings i had sprout through interesting circumstances, and those mothers.

As far as these new plants go, i did not expect anything out of them.

First off, they are both random bagseed. When beginning the sprout, i had them under 48 hours of light under a single cfl and watered them once each day. After that i had a business trip to go on so i shut the light off, for probably 3 days. When i came back, expecting nothing in my little makeshift grow cabinet, there were two, super stretched little seedlings! Since i had ordered a 600w LED light about 3 days prior i thought it was a sign, haha.

As of right now, my grow will be within a 2x2x4 tent outside with a 200W LED and a 60W CFL as supplemental lighting until i get the 600W. Then it will be the 600W and 200W combo. Dont currently no the actual wattage conversion but it oughtta be enough to maintain 2 plants.

Here is what we're working with:

And so here we are. I will be updating this post quite frequently so stay tuned! Excited to finally hear feedback. Especially from the community that technically and indirectly taught me everything i know! I will be updating the format for this post to be a little more appealing when i get computer access and i will also add more info about this new grow(ventilation, growing techniques to be utilized, etc.). Looking forward to a great season!

Here's some pictures of other past plants:

Stay stoney my friends!!

Update #1: Day 2 since beginning of documentation and approx. day 5 from soil.

Both of the miracle babies are coming along quite fine. The left shed off it's shell within what seemed like the timespan of an hour. Went inside to play some games and she had her shell, a little later when i went to check on things, shes got it in the soil next to her :) Nice.

Now i also decided to plant 2 more bagseed babies in anticipation of my new grow light arriving in about a day or so. Things are coming along quite alright!

Would be nice to see a new soul in here aside from myself though, what you guys got going on for the holidays? .

Hey man, with your previous grows as an example looks like this is going to be some good stuff.

That bag of weed looks tasty, what strain is it i couldnt catch the label?

That was actually what drew me to it, I got it from a local delivery service and it only has the label 'chronic' lol. Nice sense of mystique, not to mention it's surprisingly low-priced for where I'm located.

It smells EXACTLY like teriyaki-flavored beef jerky and tastes a hint of it too aha

About to roll a blunt of it right now :)

Depending on climate u may want to open those vents for more airflow

As of right now I'm in California experiencing full force winter climate, gotta preserve as much heat in there with that cfl as possible. Once I get my 600W LED however, I will definitely be heeding your advice, my friend :).

Update #2: Day 3 of documentation and approx. day 6 from soil.

My 600W light arrived today, as it is a non-sponsored light, i wont be showing the light too directly in any of the pictures.

Im going to give some thought on placing my 200W UFO back in the tent with it though. 600W is quite a bit more powerful and if they were doing fine under the UFO, they oughtta do great under the 600W.

After reading 420islife's thread, ive really been pondering setting up a hydroponic setup as i have the gear, just not a clue how to set it all up. Thinking of posting pics of the system so maybe some of you guys could provide assistance? Idk yet

As far as the younglings go:

Left: Seems to be getting quite a bit of root growth since there isnt much foliage development as of today.

Right: About the same as the left.

Newbie babies from yesterday: Still acting shy, hanging out below the surface.

Aaand we're off to Update #3: Day 4 of documentation and approx. day 7 from soil.

So I decided last night, i would hit the M. Babies with some SuperThrive.

I used this stuff back when i did my first indoor and it produces GREAT results. It really aids in the plants vegetative growth. As they are young, i only put a quarter of a drop in the water. As they get older, ill add more to the feeding water until it equates to 2 whole drops. It's really concentrated so i want to monitor how my plants react before fully committing.

I also added in a fan and placed it at medium speed since low didnt even affect the plant on the left.

As far as the plants go, left seems to be opening up to us a bit more everyday.

Nothing too dramatic, and right is doing what left did yesterday which leads me to assume it is getting a lot of root growth today.

I also never mentioned what light cycle they're on; Ive got them at 18/6.

Thats all for today's update :) what do you all have planned for New Year's?
