UPDATE

4 weeks (PE) and 3 weeks (SD) of 12/12

I'm in love with these girls. They are way better than my previous round. I took a big risk switching to organic, but it looks like it will pay off. I just wish I had 2 more girls in that tent. I'm hoping for 800g this round.

The big room I had built is just about done. Getting some nice finishing touches on it now. I will let if off-gas for at least a week, with the extractor running the entire time. That should do the trick I think.

There is a cover story for that building, so it needs to look the part and now it does. It is a thing of beauty now. Almost 50sqm of air-conditioned sexiness.

Nice lock! There were some bumps and bruises but so glad you can feel good about your space. There is always a concern of unwanted visitors but I'm glad I live in a place where if you want to grow it legally, you can. I feel like it naturally prevents people from trying to break in and steal your stuff anymore. If you want to grow it you just buy the equipment and get started nowadays. There will always be the few bad apples but for the most part I've seen a lot of positives.

Cops don't seem to care unless someone reports it and you'd have to be pretty dull in the head to be over-growing and have it so the neighbors could see what you are doing. Even then they show up and make you chop down your plants until you get to 4. They even let you choose what to keep.. lol. It was a story that made the headlines in the paper a while back. A guy had like 60 plants in his backyard and they let him keep 4. It was only because a neighbor saw and didn't like the guy so they turned him in. Either way the crimes associated with drugs have gone down and law enforcement doesn't seem to care anymore. Pretty cool to watch it all change right in front of my eyes.

Yeah, I'm envious of guys like you. I'm really hoping sanity prevails in SA and they start taking real steps towards decriminalization, and then legalization. We are on the tipping point, but I think it could still go either way.

Thanks Penny. It is a great strain. I've grown out 5 individual purple envys now, and they have all been good.

Sorry - probably shouldn't comment on things I don't really know about! My political knowledge of SA is greatly influenced by my friend who deeply mistrusts Jacob Zuma.

Your plants look great as usual. Noticing any big differences with the plasma on them for all of flower?
 
Yeah, your friend is not the only one with a deep mistrust of Zuma. Hopefully they cotton on to how much money can be generated from the industry. Also, "dagga" has long been a part of african culture. I am almost optimistic.

Thanks bud. It's hard to tell so soon in flower how large of an impact the plasmas are having. I can tell you though, that the finished product is hella strong! :cheesygrinsmiley: I've been typing this message for 15 min now. :rofl:
