Thanks Jgrow, and yes it is a great feeling!

Jarred up the remaining 4 plants this weekend. Came in at a healthy 360g. That puts me close to 700g in total for this round. I think I will beat it with these 4 girls. :cheesygrinsmiley:

You doing a defoliate on those babies? Looking good man.

Definitely. In fact, I defoliated the one purple envy last night. Will do the other tonight. The strawberry diesels will get defoliated next week. Also need to do the veg girls as well. They are overgrown.

Blaze, if you have time, could you take a before and after of one of your rounds of defoliation?

I have no problem doing that, if I remember. ;) Next round of defol starts next monday. I did the other purple envy last night. They look so much better now.

UPDATE

Day 25 (PE) and day 18 (SD) of 12/12

I defoliated the strawberry diesels and lollipopped them as well. Dobe, I took before photos, but realised they were a poor example of how I would normally defoliate because they have such an open structure and very few big fan leaves. So I barely took anything off them. Most of my energy was spent lollipopping. I need to defol the Dnets in veg soon. They will make for a decent "before-after" tutorial.

I've noticed with organic growing, I'm relying far more on reading the plant than actually following any kind of recipe or set plan. I've been thinking that organics is really easy, but I wonder if it doesn't make more sense to cut your teeth on coco/hydro first before venturing into organics. I don't know... I'm probably just talking shit here. LOL! I've been pushing organics hard with fellow growers, because of it's ease and amazing results. I just hope that wasn't irresponsible of me.

Anyway... I'm still amazed by how they are taking off in flower. They are drinking/eating a lot! The purple envys are way ahead of the strawberries, but that is not too surprising considering they were placed in 12/12 a week earlier and the strawberries are probably a longer flowering strain as well. I just hope I didn't cut back the strawberries too much in veg and rob them of proper structure. Time will tell I guess.

Purple Envy bringing the frost early, and smelling very grapey this time round.

More aggressive lollipopping to try and reclaim some of the weight I lose in popcorn bud.

Hell yeah looking awesome bro :) :passitleft:

Good to see you around here again bud. I know... I've been terrible following other journals as well. I'm even fucking up my own journals. LOL! The strawberry diesels are meant to be lumped in with the Darlins Nets in the organic journal. Oh well.

I've been following your journal as much I can. I see you've still got plenty going on man. Those little black widows are looking healthy. Give them that special attention. I want to see them perform for my own selfish reasons. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Very nice job you're doing this far bud .
On the point of organics imo it's the original way to grow and all others being good or bad is the spin offs of human kinds development. Either way I think everyone should at least give it a shot and determine for themselves what suits them best. I have no doubt you will enjoy the end result by the look on how things are going so far.
A can make a cup of cake in the microwave that takes 2 minutes but nothing beats the original oven baked lol

Yeah man I'm slowly getting through them and making space  out of the 3 BW's there is one really nice one I'm hoping is female, ones that have really got my attention though are the mango seedlings, gorgeous looking plants, cant wait to do some breeding with them :)

Remind me about the mango again? They were old beans right?

What blows my mind, is how much goes into mastering organics. Always thought it was the simple route. The true test will be in the smoke though.

How are your girls looking bud?

Yeah mate they were the old unknown seeds my dads mate gave me I got a few years back, had around 650 of them  dropped in a couple a few years back and ended up with a male and a female, wasn't breeding at the time so I culled the male, flowered out the female and was a very stretchy sativa that reaked of mangoes which is why I call it mango ;) Saying that though I had only flowered the one out, really they could be all different, may be quite a few different phenotypes and flavors as it came from an open pollination, he has been growing this same strain for about 20 years and told me he has never smelt mango before  So I finally got some free space and dropped 6 in, 3 were mutants so I ripped them out, still have the other 3 going, 2 look identical and the other looks completely different, not really throwing out any defining smells yet though :thumb:
