Pat, sounds like you already have a plan. Ever thought of combining those cobs with HPS?

The plasma weighs 11kg which isn't alot, but it becomes difficult when you're holding it up over your head, trying to attach it those irritating carrabiners to the pole. I'm too scared I drop it man. LOL!

Suntana, I'm good brother. How is the body healing up after that fall? That elbow looks nasty. Swelling going down a bit yet?

It is roughly 162w/sqft in the flower tent, although the fan occupies too much floor space, so I have to cram the ladies closer together under the lights. So probably closer to 200w/sqft.
 
I've had a run of bursitis with my knees, not pleasant man. Get strong bud.

No co2. That will be something I look at in the future. I have big plans, but this time round I will be taking my sweet ass time instead of trying to ramp up too quickly as I've done in the past.

Oh, I hear ya. Once you get the rhythm going it will get easier I'm sure.
Find I couple keeper strains and stick to them for a few rounds. Then your set, you can always piss around with some new strains in the background.
Your a damn good grower, you'll get there .

Got 2 strains going in veg I will be cloning soon. Will run those for a while.

It's still early days, but I swear I can see a difference already. Problem is, I changed up nutes again, added the DE light (which is much more intense than my previous 1000w light) and then of course the plasmas. So it's hard to say, "yes, these lights do xyz". The plasmas are just there for resin and terpene production. A little added yield would be nice, but defintely not a priority. Let's see what happens over the next 3 weeks. :thumb:
 
Nah brother I don't plan on running HPS also, if I run 12 cobs in a 5*5 pushing 600w I would have more than enough light. I was scared it would be overkill but seems to be right in the ball park of what is needed. The panel would be quite big at 1.2 x 1.2m already. Just waiting on Rapid LED to give me a quote for shipping then if all goes well by 2018 I will have it up and running

LoL I hope it all works out Suntana, have been looking at alot of other lights and this cob setup seems to be the way to go. It doesn't sound like that much though :rofl: 600w is a chilled 600w hps but I will hopefully perform closer to 1000w hps. I am quite jealous of Blaze's new lights. Those things are the tits

Looking nice! Crazy how tall they are. Buds starting to really swell up.
 
The taller ones on the right are my favourites. They still have plenty of time. I'm hoping they save the yield on this run.
 
UPDATE

Day 48 of 12/12

Small update. All is good. I'm still very happy I upgraded the lights. The plants are responding well.

I can smell some grape creeping into the purple envy's. Never had that before. It is delicious. One of them is just starting to turn a light shade of purple as well. One of the blue dreams is also turning purple.

Tutankhamon still set to finish first. She will get her last feed in a few days, then EM-prosoil, and then nothing but water for another 7 to 10 days.

I left the blue dreams out of the photos. I don't like them. LOL!
