The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Hi Sue,

"It's not going to organize and clean itself,
so I guess it's up to me.
Let's see what kind of magic I can conjur."

The time is now.

I would 12/12 something real soon followed with another in two or three weeks.

Even if it is only a few grams, it is better than walking the streets. It is cold out there. You rushed your last grow to start your vacation. So, you already know what to expect.

Put a tent up and get going.

Best.

I hear you Canyon. I'm making every effort. It's painful going through all this stuff. Not what I'd planned for Valentine's Day at all, but poignant in its own way. He was my original Valentine.

Here's to you my Virtual Valentines...

BAR :kisstwo::dreamy: Sue

Thank you my virtual Valentine.

Progress. Got quite a bit boxed up. Another day and I'll be ready to put tents up.

I worked out a plan and set a deadline. On my way to minimalist.

Good to see them sprouts Sue! And a happy valentines day to you. :thumb:

Thank you STIHL. Happy Valentines Day to you. :kisstwo:

How sweet. That made me smile. :laughtwo:

Fast and Vast Auto is in the dirt, under the lights. I see a light at the end of the tunnel. It was difficult to start and tremendously challenging to keep at, but I think I finally reached the point where I have a plan I can execute. That I have a plan for it at all is remarkable. I now have a greater appreciation for women who grieve for years and don't move anything. I'm not one of those women, obviously, but it would be so simple to settle back and be complacent. It's just stuff. Scary stuff laden with memories and dreams that are occasionally painful, but still stuff.

I'm really becoming interested to see what I find essential.

Sue,

Did you bring back any of those sage bundles to cleanse the place? If so turn off the smoke detectors. No idea if they chase sprites away. They make you feel like you are doing something about the past though. It is sort of like clearing your mind only with your surroundings. Maybe a little like making peace with what is around you.

Moving on. I had a clone that never got going. It died back until there was only about as much green showing as your starts. I got the new light and set it under it. I am actually amazed at the growth after about ten days. You have two coming to speed things up. There should not be a huge gap so, just say you are going to have to buy a bag before first harvest and go have a brownie. You have had a long day.

Just for you. :green_heart:

I forgot to get the sweetgrass. I can achieve the same cleansing with clapping if I feel it's really necessary. It's mostly the ceremony, as you know. The cleansing that's needed is a spiritual one, and that's most efficiently reached through meditation.

I doubt I'll purchase any. I'll tough it out. What we grow is so superior to what one can purchase that the frustration level takes away from the buzz. I just survived 2 months. I can make it. This should be my last dry spell. I'm looking at about twelve weeks until I have something smokable, or in my case, bakable. :laughtwo:

Wow Sue! This journal is just rocking!! I last posted on 2/8 post #707, and just 6 days later you are you are on post #831. Hahahaha!! I am going to have to start checking in here more often in order to keep up! :nicethread::reading420magazine:

We do move at a rapid rate Bangabong. :laughtwo: Good to see you again. :hugs:

Me and my sweetie use sage, is that the same with a different name?
i dint know why I ask, i could just google it. duh ;-)

Sage is burned by Native Americans, but sweetgrass is as well. I have a ring of sweetgrass from my last visit to Phoenix, seven years ago, but I kept it intact. I just love the smell. Reminds me of Sweet Woodruff.

Edit: haha! I just realized I'm staring at the sage bundle I brought home seven years ago. I came across it while sorting today.

Sage is good for cleansing and sending bad spirits away (sorry bloodline wouldn't let me not post about this haha) but in order to have full power of it a sea shell and eagles feather are needed love the journal sue! Happy growing :Namaste:

Why thank you for the clarification SoloVoodoo and :welcome: to the journal. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I don't think I have any real chance of coming across an eagle feather, and there aren't any angry or evil spirits here anyway. I have the disconcerted spirit of one widowed too young. What can I do but love and laugh my way through it?

There go the lights off at 3. Wow! Not really sleepy yet.

Hey Sue! Isn't it great that our hobby can be the motivation to do other house projects. I don't know how many things I do around here that started or finished in the garden but ended or began in the kitchen or workshop.

How many varieties does that make in the ground now? It's a cornucopia of cannabis in there!
Bob ;)

I'm a bit on the mad side Bob, with eight different strains, 5 auto, 3 photo. I'm still working out soils. I know Dark Devil Auto's going in LOS and Carnival's going into kit soil. Everybody else is still undecided.

I think from now on I'm sticking with no more than two to three varieties. This grow is the jump start. From now on it becomes more refined.
