The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Daily Update: Thursday, Oct 13, 2016

Few things make me happier than to walk into my room and find a conversation going on. :battingeyelashes:  Good morning everyone.

Tead, you turn such a beautifully descriptive phrase. I could see, feel, hear, taste and smell the early morning French Quarter. Sweet!

Time to check in on the star. She'll get Brixed as soon as I get this posted.

You can see the little ones rising up. I need a few more to fill in the center.

Ready for your inspection Duggan. :hugs:

Good morning Sue, hope your well today! Your "star" is looking good. Those inner colas will catch up, no worries. If she was mine, I wouldn't wait too much longer. remember she will stretch about 12 -16" , so ya better flip her soon! She will fill your tent nice right now ....wouldn't want to run into height issues. Up to you bud.....have an awesome day Sue and Gang!:circle-o:circle-of-love:

Breakfast this morning was a cranberry bagel and a Medical Morning Smoothie, made with frozen leaves of the Med GOM 1.0. I need to get some CBDA in particular into my system. This may be the key to effecting positive change with the scalp psoriasis. Over the past week I've begun to notice a distinct improvement of my general skin tone, which gives me hope that after all these months the ECS is beginning to catch up. I also started doubling up the doses of CBD capsules. Today I started with doubling the first dose. I'll stay there for a week before I increase the next to the last dose of the day. Then I'll work my way to the center of the daily doses. My 11:30 evening dose is already a double dose.

TheFertilizer inspired me yesterday on the dosing thread to try the smoothie route. I've been wondering what it was going to take to get me started on smoothies made with raw leaves. He was the man to make it happen.

Here's a link to the post I left there this morning documenting my smoothie adventure.

Absolutely yummy! One more joyful thing to join the many joyful things that have already graced my day, and it's not even noon yet. :battingeyelashes:

So get out there people and ooze love and joy everywhere you go. Watch your life and the lives of everyone you come into contact with go smoother and all of you be happier. Grab all the hugs you can while you're at it. Hugs are a healing force all their own.

I'll catch up to you later. There's a THC capsule with my name in it. :ciao:

Daily Update: Autos and Clones, Thursday, October 13, 2016

I'm hoping to get Callanetics in today, so let me get this posted now, so it can't bog me down later. Let's take a look at this delightful grouping.

Dark Devil Auto 2 (Day 61) I started her flush today.

Oh yeah! :laughtwo:

Dark Devil Auto 4 (Day 51) As soon as the rest of the clones are potted up I'm going to set up some side lighting with CFLs.

Shes a little taller than I wanted her to be. This is what the last one did, and it didn't bother her in the slightest to be this close. I'm thinking about removing the SWICK, and that's probably what I'll do. I've had to face the fact that as much as I appreciate the SWICK method, I don't have the space to pull it off under these lights. It worked well in this space with CFLs hanging freely around the plants. This isn't working quite as well.

By by this weekend I'll have that SWICK removed. That'll get her down at least another 4".

image18407.jpeg

Lots of growth going on inside. I figure this one has at least another month. Side lighting from here on out will make all the difference. Hmmmm......I could hang some CFL cords off to the sides......

The clones are doing magnificently. I watched Pigeon's new cloning video this morning and was stunned to realize the magnitude of what I accomplished here. My cuttings were too big, my preparation work was lax, I didn't trim the leaves like everyone else and I essentially neglected them and just assumed it'd work because if TOAST could do it surely I could get one to root, right? :laughtwo:

Now I have too many. Lol!

By doing it all wrong I ended up with these monster clones that have all this growth ready to take off.

Not bad for a rookie. The first two are six days potted, so it's time to move them into the tent and let them go at it.

That's the nickel tour for the day. I hope you enjoyed it and I thank you kindly for stopping by to visit. I'll be in and out for the rest of the day. Time to track down some grub.

:Namaste:

Sue: your method of cloning is not wrong if it works for you. Each of us lives in a different climate, heat out houses at diff temps, live at diff latitudes, endure whatever humidity levels are in our microcosm.

So you just keep taking large cuttings and rooting them like you always do! People like me only get viable clones in the Spring, and I have resorted to soil layering. It's slow, but I have hope it will work.

I suspect you'll have good luck with that AKgramma. It certainly looks like it should work without a hitch.

Yeah, I surprised myself with these clones. My grandma must be working through me. :laughtwo: Maybe it's all the joy. Lol!

Too many clones sounds like a SOG to me! *chants* SOG! SOG! SOG! SOG! :laughtwo:

:laughtwo: That would take a larger tent. Someday I'll relocate and set up all my tents AND have a room for flowering. That's the dream, and I'm planning on getting it. :battingeyelashes:

Hey Sue great update :thanks: Love DDA 2 :cheertwo: A little mustard on the foliage is a good thing with autos. With dda do they amber up or do you go with milky? Sure did swell up all chunky like. looks like a successful hempy grow to me :bravo:

Why thank you Hab. I was looking at her and thinking I'd have to call this hempy a success too. It depends on the end product, but on looks alone the blossoms are enticing, eh?

I take them at all or mostly milky. I'm not a fan of amber trichomes. :battingeyelashes:

PRIZES!!!!!

The daughter just stopped to ask if I got my package. I wasn't even aware it was down there. :laughtwo:

Thank you Gorilla Seeds. :battingeyelashes:

Yay prizes! Have you tried any blue treacle before? It is delicious. My whole house smelled like blueberry syrup during its grow and it tasted very much like it smelled. Not a huge producer but absolutely worth the space to grow it, imo.

Ooooo..... This was nice to hear. They sent me five seeds. :slide:
