The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Hello Sue :green_heart:

Hmm never heard of this word or that being bad juju guess I shoulda coulda woulda :high-five:. lol . I get that, but defoliation thats stretching it! I'm with sue it's always just been trimming. Nice prizes sue

So whats the deal some sponsors wont ship to canada or warranty lighting? Its you and Stage that won lights that blinked out or Shiggity? Whas that an amare?

DDa 2 what are you feeding it?

I might try a brix grow found a ten year study on it a while ago no amendments just inert media some Mycorrhizae. It had three times the brix of untreated pasture. I posted a link in Fuzzy's thread

and a shameless Bush shot cause I came here looking for bud porn:circle-of-love: lol 37 days Automazar.

Grow Well.

The light that failed was an Advanced panel. I don't think Stage, or anyone else for that matter, is having anything but stellar results from their Advanced panels. It was just the luck of the draw with mine.

I'm feeding the DDA2 General Hydroponics Advanced Nutrient System, and not doing a job anyone should ever try to emulate. She's got another week or so to go. I think another day or so and I'll get the wash of cloudy trichomes. I checked her today and they're still all clear.

I believe the shipping restrictions to Canada are only due to increased shipping costs. Not sure about that though. They never did cover shipping overseas. I can understand that, and I can understand the frustration of those who win but don't get all of the packages.

To be honest, it's the shirt and the Nug jars that generate the most excitement and pride. Well, that MBM2 rocks!! Three households are benefiting from my wins with these wonderful machines.

Morning sue, just wanted to stop in a throw some love at you so here it is (throws imaginary love hearts aggressively through the phone) ✌✌

Jimdogggy

Well, wasn't that the sweetest thing Jimdigggy. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Congat's on the contest,, and may you be able to fill all them stash jars real soon,,, Keepem Green

Thanks Woody. It's a bit surreal and a whole lot warm and fuzzy. I filled a cone today but the rest will have to wait for a big harvest. By December I should be rolling in it. :laughtwo:

Ooooo.... Right before my birthday. :slide: Carnival for my birthday. :yahoo:

Sue....sue.....hey....sue....yeah you......Id love to just sit down with you & get stoned & pick your brain! Thats all! Hahaha :volcano-smiley:

Maybe one of these days we should make that happen Scottay. Someday before I move from this area and head west. :battingeyelashes:

Yeeaaahhhh.....you know sue....honestly......I could see you as kind of a "gourmet" grower of cannabis (and several others here) as the love & attention poured into the plants surely are firing back that love in some kinda fashion. (Do I sound crazy or stoned):volcano-smiley:

Daily Update: Autos, Wednesday, October 12, 2016

Good evening everyone. I hope your day, like mine, was filled with the joyful expression that lights up the universe and attracts more of the kind. What a wonderful life, eh? What say we take our stroll and see what my auto girls are up to today.

image18350.jpeg

Early Miss (Day 29) She's just about to the edges now. I may just let her go verticle from here on out.

image18351.jpeg

image18352.jpeg

She's starting to pack the blossoms on, a sure sign I need to get out of her way and just keep her watered from here on out.

image18353.jpeg

Dark Devil Auto 3 (Day 50) According to breeder timelines, this one has about 15 days to go. She looks like she might come in right on time. She's just thickening up from here to the end. Let's see if she can double her size. :laughtwo:

image18354.jpeg

Dark Devil Auto 2 (Day 60) I'm starting her flush tomorrow. She's that close.

image18355.jpeg

image18356.jpeg

It looks like she's gone cloudy, but that's an illusion. I pulled out the loupe and went looking.

image18357.jpeg

This isn't very clear, but looking closely you can see the trichomes are still almost completely cler. She's gonna make the wave of change any day now. As soon as I see that she comes down, providing I get her flushed first. Flushing a plant. Feels so wrong. Lol! What I learned most from the hempy experience is that I'm definately an organic soil cultivator. It's been an interesting journey though, and I'm glad I tried it.

I'm going to be left with almost full bottles of the nutrients, as well as the PH meter and a little PH down that needs to find a new home. If anyone's interested in those, PM me and we can make some arrangements.

image18358.jpeg

Around the corner we go.........

Dark Devil Auto 4 (Day 50) I don't see this one finishing up in 15 days, do you? Yeah, no way. She's just now getting started.

image18359.jpeg

image18360.jpeg

image18361.jpeg

She's verticle growth, but she's still creeping a bit.

image18362.jpeg

image18363.jpeg

There's no denying this light is outperforming the other two with this strain. The evidence is staring us in the face here. I want to follow this one up with a CBD auto strain and then I think I'll try one of the LOS Carnival clones in this pot, under this light and see what magic I can make happen. I can close it up with the curtain to control the light cycles. I'll miss the ambient light in the evening, but I'll survive it for the one run.

The clones continue to look better and better. I'm so stoked about this guys, you have no idea how it thrills me to see them grab the soil and go. :slide:

image18366.jpeg

The new one's adjusting wonderfully.

image18367.jpeg

That's the brood for today. :battingeyelashes: I'm so glad you stopped to visit. They're looking right nice at this point. Looks like I'll be harvesting about every two week for a few plants. Hard to complain about that. Lol! I wish you all could smell the tent. Geez, it's downright intoxicating. I go in every now and then just to unzip and grab a wiff.

Thanks for stopping. I hope to visit around this evening, so I should be seeing some of you in the yards.

:Namaste:

So I fired up that celebratory joint today and smoked it bit by bit. I'm finishing it up as I type. :laughtwo: I'm also watching myself in the bank of mirrors get more and more stoned as I go. Hahaha! The eyes tell the story first. Lol! Damn, I'm high! As far as I know, there is no one in my personal "real" world - the world I physically move around in - with the freedom and inclination to stay high continuously. Many of you don't have that freedom, do you?

How sad. How truly sad. We shouldn't have to wait until retirement to partake freely. I still hold to my dream of absolute freedom, when no one has to take a drug test and we all stop judging each other, period.

I'd just finished one of those joint-smoking sessions - which incidentally are just as much incense as medication, am I right? - and decided to run over to the store real quick, so I grabbed the keys, phone, wallet and ran down the stairs, bursting out onto the street singing to the playlist (believe it or not, Patti Austin singing "Baby, Come To Me", yep, irrepressibly romantic too), right into the presence of the new business tenant on the first floor.

We struck up a conversation, and in the middle of something she was saying she stopped, smiled, and said "You really smell like weed." :laughtwo:

You should know me well enough to expect that, after the hearty laughter by both of us, I used it as an opening for a discussion on her personal use of cannabis. Same sad story we hear all too often - used to smoke, enjoyed it tremendously, wanted to pass the piss test to get a better job.

Now, my big problem with this is that we live in a very stressful world. Our endocannabinoid system is under constant attack, only made worse by our penchant as a species to fall so easily into negative thinking. I ask you, how many times have you been high and fallen into depression about the sorry state of your life? Ok, so what that means to me is that in the worst of situations cannabis offers an escape from the negativity that surrounds us, and that time of escape, that time when you're dreaming and laughing and loving the people around you, is time your endocannabinoid system is being supported instead of attacked. That means your ECS can create more balance, which translates into better health. Even taking the medicinal benefits of the cannabinoids out of the equation, cannabis is a fabulous mental health drug.

Why is it that instead of embracing an herbal medication that can keep your employees healthier, corporate America set up a policy that is effectively detrimental to the health and well being of their employees? Now, ask yourself, why are we letting them get away with it?

My new neighbor, this intelligent woman who worked for many years as a Corporate Controller for an IT firm, had no idea she even had an ECS. How many of your friends do you think know that they have a system charged with keeping all other body systems in balance? A year ago, I wasn't aware of it. Think about that. I don't think it's in anyone's best interest to have this much invaluable information left hidden. I'm gonna take every opportunity to educate my own neighbors. In truth, I've been doing that around my parts for months now. Let me encourage you to do the same in your circles. Ask some questions. Do some basic educational outreach, one friend or neighbor at a time.

Takes a lot of courage, I know, but can we really stand by silently while our neighbors and friends and family get sicker and sicker? Can you imagine everyone ignoring the fact that we have a circulatory system? How crazy would that be? The ECS regulates that too. The ECS is possibly the single most important system in your body.

I'm going to start studying it more closely so I can talk about it more intelligently, at all levels.

That was some joint. :laughtwo: The room smells divine.

Yes indeed keltic. That was a special find. I've been smiling ever since. I need to make it possible to get another Timber Vero panel built. I have a friend who used to work in R&D. He should be capable of building one for me. Good idea. I'll talk to him about that.

I have a Timber 200 Watt Cree CXB3590 Kit. waiting to build while I sort out some challenges personally and professionally.
plants cannot get it soon enough. :ciao:

Good to hear keltic. I look forward to seeing how yours performs.

What beautiful photos Sue. You clearly have a talent for this. I'm just getting started but it's fine folks like you that I find so encouraging. And everyone here has a great attitude. And a great attitude spreads... maybe even to our plants.

Have a wonderful rest of the evening Sue.

Well thank you Wilbur. You feel free to stop and sweet talk me any day. :laughtwo: I'm having fun, and it shows. :battingeyelashes:

That White Widow should do you well for the pain you list in your signature line. I've a friend with some damned serious pain who chooses White Widow for her effectiveness in giving him relief. It's the strain he reaches for when the pain's at its worst.

I'll have to swing through your yard and check her out.

Just a thought about the endocannabinoid system: I'm pretty certain that the best way to help your ECS work at peak efficiency is to maintain happiness and to train yourself to be grateful for every moment you're blessed to be alive. It's not as hard as you'd think, but that statement comes from the lips of an avowed irrepressible optimist. I suppose the fair way to say it is I didn't find it hard to get to that mindset.

Not to say I'm free of physical challenges, just that they don't concern me. I'm happy. I expect my ECS to find its way back to homeostasis.

Yeah......I'll admit to some emotional challenges here and there too. :laughtwo:

That really was some joint. :laughtwo:

Just wandering through and saying hi Sue. I don't see you out much. Looking good- will be seeing you on the eye candy thread in a couple weeks it looks like.
You sometimes mention the lavender scented hugs. I'm guessing they're more like- weed scented hugs, with lavender...;)

Very astute of you Weaselcracker. :laughtwo:

I don't get out as often as I used to. So many threads running means I have many places to watch and respond too. Toss in a couple personal projects and I'm lucky to get out at all.

It'll settle down soon, right in time for the holidays. :laughtwo:

I have a couple shots from recently that qualify as eye candy. I'll look them over. Good to see you out too. :hugs:

On the topic of smellin that herb .....I was in a local store when I walk by a man in a veryyy nice suit...... he smelled of very fine cannabis.....I had this shirt with a large leaf on it that says DONT PANIC ITS ORGANIC ...... I tapped the guy on the shoulder & we struck up a canna friendly conversation for 45 minutes! Was refreshing!

It's a refreshing change from when that smell brought mostly dirty looks. Sorry for those folks who haven't received the refreshing change yet but I think it continues to get better for everyone.

I'll toss out a random observation here... but flavor it with a sprinkling of local flavor.

I live in New Orleans. I have a little side gig that drags him directly thru the French Quarter many times a week. I often execute my tasks early in the morning. As the sun starts to tint the sky with it's arrival, many working folk in the French Quarter are finishing or starting a shift, tourists are still haunting various bars amazed that the sun is starting to show after their night of debauchery, some random idiot is fighting with his sweetheart.
As I stroll or ride my route, a sweet familiar smell twists it's way into my nostrils fairly regularly. It's source is often hidden... but often just walking in front of me. Hell.... I warned some kids the other day.... they were turning a corner about to walk near the local cop-shop while enjoying some nice smelling herb.
My observation.... it's been happening much more frequently lately.
