The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

*BIG sigh of relief* :laughtwo: OK, I'll claim that as my miracle today. I expect one every day, you know. It's a practice I heartily endorse. The wonderful things that keep finding their way into my life.......

I like this. I'm going to start looking for one too. I don't think today's has happened yet, but it will, I'm sure. :circle-of-love:

GrateDay Sue :ciao:

Yes indeed keltic. That was a special find. I've been smiling ever since. I need to make it possible to get another Timber Vero panel built. I have a friend who used to work in R&D. He should be capable of building one for me. Good idea. I'll talk to him about that.

I'm getting really excited Scottay. Lol! Look at her this morning.

Daily Update: Carnival #2, Day 78

Here she is, ready for duggan's inspection.

I'm having a difficult time getting far enough above her to get the whole plant in to an overhead shot. :laughtwo:

I did some minor defoliation to get more light into the center. I have a couple good candidates getting ready to start a verticle climb. Let's encourage that.

Look! A new design on the big nug jar. How cool! I won't be able to pass this one on. It'll be part of what I take with me when I move.

image18326.jpeg

I love all these little nug jars too. They're just the perfect size for keeping small amounts out for variety.

My heartfelt thanks to Rob and the magazine, and to the generous sponsors who've contributed to this package that'll have me smiling all day and into the next. And special thanks for the votes that got me here. :battingeyelashes:

Time to fire up a celebratory joint.

Words of wisdom: If you're going to drop a hot ember, even a small one, on your rubber mat, notice it immediately. :laughtwo:

Hey Susan, cool box of goodies woman! Ya you made an error Sue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You called it "Defoliating" you a bad girl! Lets NOT use that word OK...instead we will say "PRUNE or PRUNING!!!! GOT IT! :) :slide::Namaste:

:laughtwo: Thanks for calling me out on that Duggan. I've been trying to lose this word from my vocabulary. I've been trying to lose the use of the word "should" too, as in "I should..." or "You should..." or "They should..." Using the word that way implies you've already failed. That thought hit home with me last week and I tacked it onto a piece of paper and keep it on my work desk so I don't forget about it.

Ignore the word "only" in the upper right hand corner. It was from something else. Wouldn't want to confuse you with that. :laughtwo:

^ That's one I learned awhile ago. :high-five:

It means "I won't, but" or "you/they won't, but".

It's just a wish - an abandonment of intention.

Wait. I get why not to use "should" but why is "defoliating" wrong? When I think pruning I think removing entire branches or parts of them. When I think defoliating I think of removing only leaves. I must be missing something.

I tend to call it trimming. I'm not really sure why the dropping of the word "defoliation" unless it's because it sounds so harsh. I know when I think of a defoliant I think of agent orange. That's enough reason to lose the word right there, but I'd noticed a preference among the HB crew to change the language and I had no problem with complying.

Thank you. I like the way you put that. :kisstwo:

Are you having fun yet, Sue?

*giggle* Yes I am Canyon. :slide:

I feel so special and loved. Everywhere I go these days the world keeps looking more lovely. I don't think there's been a point in my life where I was fundamentally happier at my core. How neat. I figure I still have at least another thirty good years in me. :battingeyelashes:

Wait........ I had a joint around here somewhere....... There it is. :laughtwo: Back to the buzz. :ciao:

Hello Sue :green_heart:
