The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

That DDA Hempy is budding up nice. :thumb:

I know you make oils and tinctures and such Sue. I made a thread on my coffee creamer medible but I wanted to share what I use to strain with. Its clean and minimises losses of valuable mixtures left in vegetation.

Thank you so much for the great share Habitual. Sounds like a keeper. Canna Montana has a Cozy Corner thread that would benefit from a repost of that. You might want to track her thread down.

:reading420magazine: *takes notes* I'm watching those Dark Devil Autos even closer now. They're looking really good!

I noticed you used aloe water on the clone. Is it safe to use on seedlings as well? Mine arrived but I'm not sure when to start using it. Bobrown14 mentioned using it on "ALL stages of growth" but I shy away from adding anything to super young seedlings without absolute verification that they'll live through it. :laughtwo:

I wouldn't hesitate to use the aloe on seedlings. I grow in LOS and that means I feed the soil, regardless of the age of the plant, so my seedlings get what everyone else gets and they grow into things like the DDA3 and DDA4. But aloe won't hurt any plant at any stage of growth. It'll only enhance them. It also helps the water absorbs more efficiently.

You haven't seen anything yet. When these girls near harvest they're a sight to behold. The hempy girl's taking on some serious ink-stain color in her leaves and she's filling the entire tent with the scent of sweet berry and fuel. Gets my blood pumping. :laughtwo:

Thank you! I'll add the aloe to the next water.

Mmmm, berry!

I'll be honest, I'm not a patient person. At all. The next few months are gonna be rough. :helpsmilie: :goof:

Well SweetSue your my inspiration for the Dark Devil Auto's. Well sista I have two in my Hen House. One in soil and another in Hydro. Both are very young, the soil 12 days and Hydro 4 days. I also have an Northern Light Auto and and a new Pineapple Express 3 days old. My first PE failed to launch so I dropped another bean. Drop in the Hen House when you get the chance..... Ole Rooster1 strolling thru..:volcano-smiley:

Anybody and everybody correct me if I am wrong, I make sure to use the water with Aloe in it right away. I dont let Aloe water sit for long. I remember reading it somewhere But I have recalled wrong before. My memory is terible (so is my spellign)

I squeeze aloe from a clipping into my water when I think about it, just before watering.:Namaste:

cheers.

What a bunch of beauties! Looking great in here Sue :)

Thank you dick. They're behaving nicely so far.

You remember correctly keltic. Aloe doesn't keep in water. Mix only what you'll use.

I'm tickled pink to hear that Rooster. I'll swing by later.

I suspect you're right. However, I'm been working on it my whole life and my progress is dismal. I think I just need a couple more lifetimes to iron out the kinks. :laughtwo:

Yeah.... You and me both. :laughtwo:

Do yourself a favor: Buy BF (barneys farm) Blue Cheese (I just ran some of "buddhas blue cheese & they all were fucking horrible phenos, all of them) or (if you can find any) DJ Shorts Blueberry.
It only took me one time smelling blueberry to make my mind up to run quite a few crosses with it. I love it!

Thank you for the recommendation. I almost bought a blue cheese to try this week, though I can't remember which breeder it was. I decided not to though because I already have two skunk strains running. I haven't tried skunk yet and don't know what to expect. If I like it, I'll totally try the Blue Cheese next time. I've tried Blue Widow before though. I remember it was a super easy plant to grow.

You remember correctly keltic. Aloe doesn't keep in water. Mix only what you'll use.

Good to know! 1/4 tsp per gallon right?

Whew, Hi crew,

Life has been a challenge for me the past few days, my half healthy body decided to not function correctly. Damn I liked my body during my youth. Long to short ... Kidney Stones (several times during last 20 years). I waited in pain for too long this time, just sucked it up, and for ignoring the problem, my body rejected my lack of engagement, and an infection ruled my UT, and then moved into my entire blood stream.

Funny part of this (I must have a funny part, even if its not PC) is I was laying in the hospital with filters and tubes and God know what else stuck into me, and what do I think of? Hmmmmmm ... I wonder if there are MM treatments developed for these kind of medical problems? Hehehe

I do give Big Pharma a hard time, and they deserve and have earned it. BUT, to be fair, I would likely be not among the souls on earth if they hadn't developed some of the stuff that was stuck into every orifice, both God given and Doc Induced. Glad to be among the walking again, I've got some recovering to do!

Keith

PS. - You know you are getting older when you even type about your health issues to total strangers! OK, we aren't total strangers, but we could pass on the street and not even know.

Good afternoon O SweetSue.
Hey Rooster1..why is it everytime I read your posts I think of Fog Horn Leg Horn?
That should be your avitar.

I know this is not an MMJ remedy, but it IS a whole lot cheaper than the crap you have been going through. When an ultrasound and a blood test showed I had gall stones, the first thing the doctors wanted to do was subject me to gall bladder surgery. I thought HELL NO, and went with a regiment of stone breaker tea 3x a day and a tablespoon of coin grass tincture per day in the morning. This works for kidney stones, too. The tincture breaks up the stones and the tea relaxes the tubes coming off your kidneys and gall bladder. So they pass painlessly. You'll see little pieces of floating poop in the toilet, and you will know it is working for the galls tones, as well as the kidneys.

After a 6 week regiment, my blood test came back normal, and I have had no problems at all.

Now, if Sue can come up with a medicinal MMJ equivalent, we growers are all set!

It is recommended that the regiment be repeated every 6 months as a preventative for thoe who have a tendency towards kidney or gall stones.

I use the flakes that're 200x. If you're using gel from a fresh fillet use more. It mixes with the water better if you have a little Ful-Power in with it (5ml per gallon), something I forgot yesterday, but these were clones. I also used my immersion blender to get it mixed a little better.

Keith..... :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Glad to have you back among the living. I wondered where you'd gotten to. I can give you my best recipe for cleaning the kidneys and staving off UTIs.

Anti-UTI Yogurt Treat

Get yourself some yogurt (vanilla works well) and some whole berry cranberry sauce. It's important that it be whole berry sauce. There are components you'll get from the whole berries that aren't available any other way.

Mix one spoonful of each together and eat it right down. If you have an infection going, do this every hour for about 6 hours or so and then fall back onto three times a day for a week. For maintenance of healthy kidneys when you're at risk (something you should consider) just once or twice a week will suffice. Ordinarily you can get away with just pulling it out when you feel pressure suggesting a problem building.

This is one of my most powerful holistic recipies. It's the one I pull out most often for others, and it's brought tremendous relief over the years.

You're welcome. May it keep you free from any future kidney stone events. :hugs:

Good afternoon O SweetSue.

I couldn't agree more. I know it seems too obvious, but that's two of us envisioning it already. :laughtwo:

Good afternoon Stage. :hugs:

Daily Update: Friday, September 30, 2016

Good afternoon everyone.

Let's start off today in the tiny closet with the Dark Devil Auto 4 (Day 38). She certainly has done her best to fill up the space, hasn't she? :battingeyelashes:

image17838.jpeg

I'm managing to keep her fairly level. Trying to keep from burning up all her big fans too.

image17839.jpeg

She's starting to build the buds. It's strange having one without a touch of purple.

image17840.jpeg

Off to the side the Carnival #1 clone candidates are chillin'.

image17841.jpeg

I adore having this cutting sitting off to the side of my work table.

image17842.jpeg

Into the auto tent.

image17843.jpeg

image17844.jpeg

Early Miss (Day 17) She's getting ready to take off. Another day or two and I'll start to restrain her and coax those branches open.

image17845.jpeg

Dark Devil Auto 3 (Day 38) She's starting to take on some rich purple tones in the leaves.

image742.png

Dark Devil Auto 2 (Day 48) Beefing up. Just what I'm looking for.

image743.png

A flower from DDA3. Her trichomes are beginning to set.

image744.png

Next door, Carnival #2 (Day 66) awaits her supercropping session later today with Duggan instructing.

I'm out of Klondike bars, so I must take a walk to the grocery store and replenish. :laughtwo: That gives me opportunity to spread joy right here in my own neighborhood. Think I'll wait on that. It's the last day of the month, so the stairways await their monthly cleaning. I'll get that tackled and then treat myself out to dinner with Klondike bars to be brought home for dessert. Sounds like a joyful plan.

The contests will be over tonight, so if you haven't cast your votes, this is your last chance. Someday you're going to be in one of those contests and you're gonna hope more members participate, so do your part today. Here's the links, to help you out.
