The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

She's a beauty!! How long you thinking of running her? :)

Thanks Ziggy, and yes she is a beauty. Those buds are every bit as solid as the pictures suggest. Give this one a decent cure and those buds are going to be rock hard.

She's at 63 days now and she looks like at least another three to four weeks by my estimation. You see how frosty she is? Unbelievable!!! So healthy and vibrant. Lots of weight at this point too. Smells divine!!!!! I'm getting really excited. This is going to be much better than the first one. :slide:

Daily Update: Wrap-up

Maintenance notes:
- Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia got an Energy drench.
- Carnival got topped and trimmed.
- Carnival got an Energy drench.
- The Unknown seed got a 1/4 Trans/Water drench.
- All LOS pots got spritzed with a strong stream to work in top dressings.

I'm pretty sure I got it all. If I remember anything else I can edit.

I had fun. Did you have an easier time keeping up? Hahaha! This is evolving nicely, I think. As numbers dwindle I'll have more time, so I'm just going to continue having all this fun until then.

I'm really liking these tiny pots guys. So easy to work with and think of the variety I have going just in the five bigger ones. Ziggy and B A R are on to something. I may be able to satisfy my need for variety by keeping it to three or four at a time.

Alright on to other things. I have a virtual deck with kittens waiting for me to show up and finish off my coffee. Don't you just love that virtual space can be whatever you choose to make it? My creative brain goes into overdrive as soon as I open the iPad. It's funny, but I see our virtual neighborhood in very real terms. I sometimes wonder how many of you also do that. Surely I'm not alone in being that imaginative?

Thanks for keeping me company guys. See you around the threads. :ciao:

WOWZERS! The JhxAA is looking frosty to the max and not even done yet? Oooooooo yeahhhhh buddy :) Going to be some nice harvests around here that's for sure :goodjob:

I know! How exciting. * giggle *

Hey gal. Poking in to see the happy little ones.
Hope you're doing good. Miss our mornings? Lol.

I got some autos going.
1/2 are in the organic soil mix from work, the others are in my revised version of it. I used coco coir, replaced some of the bone & animal meals with crustacean mill, etc. Might be interesting to test my knowledge of organics.

Yes Cajun, I miss you dreadfully. I know you're out there living the dream though, so it's ok. But I still miss you so much. :hugs:

I need to get over to your journal and see what's going on.

Daily Update:The Tiny Closet - Week 11, Day 5

All of the seedlings except the smaller of the Thunderpaws is at Day 15. The littlest one, on the left, is a day younger, at 14.

Dark Devil Auto. I'm fascinated to see her little skirt begin to develop. Let's see if this one, in kit soil, lifts those fans, or if it's a strain trait that they stay down.

Carnival (Day 71) She's being very cooperative. Those lower branches that I flooded with CFL side lighting are quite up to the task of holding down their taller siblings. Lots of tucking and bending going on. This is more fun than I anticipated. Honest to God, it's like she was waiting to play, and I can almost feel her smile and bristle with anticipation when I come in her direction.

Weirdest thing ever. You only had to read it. I live with her. :laughtwo:

Give these two a couple days and they're going to give me a run for the money too. Goosebumps guys. Hehe!

Looking at the strains I realized that I have grow Jock horror regulars many times and have used it as a foundation to some other stuff. The Dark Devil is a descendant of Big Devil which I grew several years ago. It was a dabbling in to autos and it grew as big as a photo plant. Sue, if you like auto's you might like the Black Cream Auto by Sweet Seeds. I grew it last winter and determined it to be the most beautiful pot plant I ever grew! It has the most beautiful lavender hues of any pot plant I've ever seen. I was looking for a picture of it but I replaced computers and it's on that hard drive/ It is a small plant but has a decent yield and an earthy musky flavor that is quite pleasant and very relaxing.

"I've lost all ambition for worldly acclaim. I just want to be the one you love. And with your admission that you feel the same I'll have reached the goal I'm dreaming of, believe me....." I understand completely. And I think you have attained your goal.

I poached this photo online. It has the same color as the one I grew. I don't usually do autos but the seed was gifted to me. It is the only auto so far that I have any interest in growing again.

That's a stunning flower, colour is just awesome. Hope my Dark devil comes out like this.

I'll be checking that out more closely Llama. Quite an endorsement that also appealed to the artist in me.

Thank you for the sweet compliment. :battingeyelashes:

White Widow (Day 34) Just some beautiful leaf lines. You know my weakness.

Not the plant you're thinking of... methinks

I believe that was a photo of the Black Cream Auto from Sweet Seeds, but you're Dark Devil should turn out pretty as well. ;)

Re: Not the plant you're thinking of... methinks

While we are (sort of) on the subject of beautiful purple plants, here is one I stumbled across yesterday. I was so taken with it I copied and pasted the pics into my journal so I could drool over them there. I'm not sure this is an auto, but it does come in auto form. :)

Loving all the purple going on at the moment and there is a reason, 3 years ago I lost my gran (my closest friend) to pancreatic cancer. The charity, pancreatic cancer UK, uses purple as there colour to remember all the people who have suffered this terrible illness. So Everytime I see the purple flowers I smile at the thought of my gran looking down on me. Thankyou 420mag

Wow - I thought mine were purple. Now that's PURPLE!

I'd say!

Hope my current purple grow is as lovely! (mendo purps and Purple Pain Killer)

What a lovely plant Weaselcracker. I'll have to track that journal down for a closer look.
