The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

I just had a flash of cannawisdom ... :cheesygrinsmiley:

Rado reminded me of the top in hand, wondering what to do with such a formerly promising piece of plant ... and then the plant itself, usually looking completely ready to take up the slack. The surviving branches look like they just got a blast of sunshine and fresh air, and maybe even were resentful of the f'n snooty top and all its "needs", all important 'n' stuff, hoggin' the hormones ...

And that made me think of corporate management and how refreshing it can be to lose the boss. :laughtwo: I wonder if that's an actual management method - to cull the position of boss, and send those responsibilities down to the people who actually do the work. It seems to me that, while it may be highly disruptive, it probably produces a more efficient workflow and happier workers.

:hmmmm:

I think you hit on something that we can't believe we missed all these years, haven't you?

:hmmmm:

You are right, it is a corp management tool. As a former CEO one of the first things I did was assess the management structure of the company I took over. It was bloated, and had begun creating more positions of bloat....much like a bureaucracy.

I promptly cut two upper management positions and restructured responsibilities. The following years were successively better, and with other minor changes in 3 years we time we doubled our highest previous years bottom line.

Don't think you're gonna double yield, but surely it helps!

I have to say, we have the most interesting discussions pop up on this thread. :laughtwo: You guys make me look good. I love you all. I really need to lie down.

You'll be amazed at what she looks like a few days from now. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I love this space. How crazy is that? I so enjoy sitting on the floor, papers strewn about, putting the pieces together, tracking and planning. The pipe and thermos of coffee near at hand and if I turn my head a clear site line to Carnival. Easy to keep an eye on those eager branches. Hehe!

I think training is going to be fun. :cheesygrinsmiley:

The height of coolness, cannabis leaves casually dropped on the floor while I work. :laughtwo:

Life is sweet indeed.

Downtown for coffee beans. No food in the system yet other than that morning magic brownie.

That brownie is seriously kicking my butt. I'm beginning to feel a little spiritual here. Whoa! Cool!

Definitely found my dose. It's higher than I expected.

try it..i got 8/9 tops to root...under 10/14 no less. :)

I will do that. Thanks Ziggy. I'll do something with them when I get home. Ziggy - how did you handle them?

the cut tops are in water or some wet medium?
pics of rooted flowering tops in my ACE journal; J#2

i cut them and placed stem into rooting gel, then into rooting powder then into a soaked rapid rooter that (after being rinsed in water) then squeezed and then saturated with solution of qt water/2 ml humic acid/2 drops Doc Buds Kit Tea.. placed into tall Ball jars with 1/2" remainder of water/humic acid/TEA in each Ball jar, sprayed daily with 1/2 strength Kit DeStress. These were placed on floor of tent with 10/14 light schedule..within 1,2-3 weeks, I got the rooted tops and pics one can see in my journal. :)

I'll check it out. I have no rapid rooters though, and no easy access.

I find myself wondering why I'm bothering with clones though, if my intent is to switch back to autos in the closet. Hahaha!! "Autos In The Closet"..... Sounds like a cheesy dime store novel. OMG, they're going to forget what dime store novels where. Am I growing old? :laughtwo:

Wow, totally lost the train of thought there guys. Back to the question at hand. Where were we expecting me to grow these clones? My hand has been forced. The choice already made. I think the cuttings will become part of the composting mulch.
