This has nothing to do with yield, bud size, growth rate, etc., just pure green-ness, which has always been my favorite color, even before I started smoking MJ.
When I was a kid I used to fantasize about diving into a pool filled with green jello. At least I did until I started fantasizing about Marsha who sat in front of me in math class
I've looked at a *lot* pics of MJ growing and have noticed that even healthy plants generally take on a different shade and saturation of green depending on what type of artificial light they grow under.
Some of this may be due to how different lights affect photography, but I've made some general observations.
What I've noticed is that the lushest, most beautiful green seems to be produced by CFL's. Not sure how much of that is the nice soft light they show the camera and how much is real, but I've looked at enough pics now that I'm pretty sure a lot of it is the actual color of the plant.
I just love the emerald green that plants have grown under CFL.
