There is certainly getting to be some good weight. She is fattening fast🥰. Larf valley really formed a ni e flat secondary canopy and the focus on this Spiderfarmer light makes it so Larf Valley is only about 50 PPFD less that the mains.

On the extremes the brightest main cola is 1000PPFD and the dullest in Larf Valley is 895PPFD, but most of Larf Valley is about 930 PPFD and most colas are 975PPFD.
Man that's nice I couldn't get up over 850 on my girls or they would start getting squirrelly lol.

I'm not journaling this one but this is the oddball auto plant in a bonsai pot. I'm waiting another week before I start checking the Brix on it.

It's amazing how many folks will just assign an arbitrary number for PPFD like say 1000 or 1100 PPFD. Every strain handles light differently as does every plant even from the same strain.

I find the smaller the pot the less light intensity they will handle. No science there, it's just something I noticed over the years.

Brix on an auto, this will be interesting😊.

I also think that it showed like that in my current grow. That kush plant was Brixing close to 20 in flower and handled any change in environment or increase in nutes with ease. The other one was only hitting 15ish and any change she started showing her discomfort lol.

Very small pot auto at that haha. It's going to be interesting.

If you aren't going to journal it feel free to post pic's here. I'd like to see how it goes.

😂 good morning Gee 😊 miss sticky must be more or less there now yeah, I did see you mention somewhere that it’s the minerals she’s sucking out the leaves, I’ve been wondering thou, would giving em nitrogen help any in the final couple of weeks, or would that do more harm than good ?
She should have about 10 days left according to the calendar, but I'll follow the trichomes.

She is still pushing a few new white pistils but not many. The resin is still coming in but the heads are all pretty much full, so it looks like right around day 70 should be harvest time.

As for nitrogen, they get EWC and fish ferts weekly, which have nitrogen in them.

Next time I grow her I think I will add a bit extra azomite and rock dust to see if the leaves stay green longer.

Her brix were still at 17 the other day so she's not actually hungry, she's just relocating minerals as the resin comes in.

I can't wait to try her. 🥰

Right Gee, with ya,
I do remember the 70 days being mention a while back, so that’s looking bang on in it 👊
And she’s still brixing high so it’s all good, just finishing up now mate, and blow the smoke this way when you try her, I can almost smell her from here lol 💥👊

Miss Sticky clones - Day 31.
20241122_120923.jpg

Aloe on the right in blue, non-aloe on the left in black. Aloe is much more vibrant. Brix are aloe 8 and a very crisp calcium line and non-aloe 7 and very crisp.

20241122_121252.jpg

Aloe are taller.

20241122_122358.jpg

Aloe roots are substantially longer. Non-aloe on the left has one cutting with it's roots tangled upwards but the longest non-aloe roots aten't as long as the shortest aloe rooted ones. Aloe for the win. One application about a week after uppotting the bare clones.

They side branches are all growing.

Non-Aloe.

It's a good thing I still have the mothers. They have been feeding the worms for a month. I'm going to give aloe a 2nd shot of aloe and cut another round of clones after these ones finally tap out. It will be interesting to see if one side dies before the other.

Aloe.

Much more vibrant.

Interesting, I wonder if it will go anywhere?

Miss Sticky - Day 61 of Flower.
20241122_122728.jpg

The fade is in all the fans now. New white hairs are still coming in on a few colas but most are mainly red now. The end is near😊

20241122_122934.jpg

All the shade leaves have dropped or are dead and hanging. She's finishing really well.

Still some white hairs.

A Larf Valley spear.
Just spectacular! The larf valley spear is just ridiculous 😂. I'm a little green with envy because even though we are going to be harvesting at the same time I think your going to have much less trimming to do with bigger buds lol.

I gotta admit, I'm almost looking forward to trimming her, and I hate trimming. 🤣

There's not much in the way of sugar leaves lol. How much of her is going to the worms?

So I have an interesting mystery with my recent round of cuttings.

In my last round I took cuttings from my workhorse CBD plant and gave it straight tap water misting for 7 days and then a seaweed KNF extract from there. I had the healthiest clones I think I've ever had which gave me the confidence to try it again.

So this round I took cuttings again from CBD and some from the redemption grow plant. Did the same strategy and at about 10 days in I'm getting two very different results.

The CBD cuttings started getting brown edges which have spread to the growth tips and I'd be surprised if I get any of them to survive.

The other set looks as good as last round did.

I suspect the foliar mist was a bit too strong, but the CBD plant is also older so maybe weaker cuttings, and the heat mat has different temperature spots, though the CBD cuttings were at a slightly cooler spot, and were also thinner of stem.

So, a few possibilities for whatever the actual issue is but I'll start next round with a weaker solution and see if that helps.

Man, just when you think you've got it dialed in.

Oh, well. Next!
