I've been coming to 420 Magazine for about 3 yrs now and, like a lot of you, I mostly joined to learn how to grow my own meds.
I have always know that the mj laws in this country are bogus at best but I never knew just how bad it had gotten until I started reading about all the harsh treatment of my fellow smokers and it started sitting hard on my conscience.
By definition, "awareness" is a state of knowing or knowledge and this is just the place to gain that knowledge.
As I come here everyday, the first thing I notice is that people only seem to care about what's going on in the grow room or looking at bud porn and that's all good but not many of us seem to care about something bigger than that.
What we need to understand is that for most states, growing mj is highly illegal and all that knowledge about growing mj will not do you a bit of good if your in prison.
We, as members of 420 Magazine, know more than most do about just how beautiful cannabis really is.
So, why are we just sitting back and not trying to get these unjust laws changed?
We need to take the word's "cannabis awareness" to a higher level to do all we can to make everyone aware that we are on the threshold of something great in this country.
If you've noticed, their are more documentaries on TV about cannabis than ever before so, that means that someone out their is starting to listen to reason.
So, why are we not striking while the iron is hot people?
Why do I have such a hard time getting my friends here, out of the grow room and in here learning and sharing about ways to push these old shitty laws and law makers out?
Do we not really care about our fellow man?
I just know that there are so many families that have been torn apart and kids that need their mom's and dad's to be raising them instead of the foster care system because that aint right!!!!!
This is my call to action....who's with me?
So...wipe the drool off your faces, get out of the grow room and...
GET INVOLVED PEOPLE!!!
