Tent Filter and inline fan setup

Looking for the best setup of a filter and 6" inline fan....

I would like to setup as follow

Filter to duct to hood to duct to inline exhaust. ...

Now the problem i have with that is seems perfect to control temp but how will it work if the filter is on the other side of the hood wether there is negatibe aie pressure or not i know some of the smell will go thru the hood straigght to the exhaust hole and not just through the filter obviously. ...can i possibly use the setup

Hood to duct to filter to duct to inline fan or will the filter get to hot from the heat?

Your first setup would work if your hood is 100% sealed.
