Cannabis oil is now legal, under certain circumstances, in Tennessee. Governor Bill Haslam signed the cannabis oil bill into law Monday. The law decriminalizes the possession of cannabis oil for people who suffer from seizures and epilepsy.
The Mathes family believes Cannabis oil will help with baby Josie's repeated seizures. Josie suffers from infantile spasms, a severe form of childhood epilepsy. Josie was able to take her first dose of cannabis oil Monday night after the law was signed. It's still too soon to tell how much the oil will help.
