Does anybody here have any advice on getting a controller/sensor to keep temps and humidity within an ideal range? something for a small 4x4.

There are a few different ones out there. It depends like so many things on how much your willing to spend.
I think titan controls are among the higher end (I want to eventually move my gear towards their controllers).
The lower end: ink bird. For temp controls the itc-308 is handy, mine is quitting after a couple years.
Im sure there are plenty of others, and hopefully others will chime in. These are just the 2 I know of

Rexer nailed my thoughts. An Inkbird is a cheap, reliable option. I use one to control a 4 ton chiller in a commercial environment. Reliable is the word that comes to mind. Good luck!

I have the inkbird 608T which allows me to control both the temp and humidity. There a few different configurations you can use, heating/cooling, Humidifier/dehumidifier, and Heating or Cooling/humidifier or Dehumidifier.
I'm currently using Cooling/Dehumidifier as I'm drying my latest harvest.

I need to control humidity in a custom 3x3 cabinet. I will take your advice on controllers. But what are my equipment options to increase humidity. My cabinet is in the unfinished part of my basement. ambient temp is 65F and RH is about 45%. Cheers
