Tcheck 3 on special 20% off

I have been procrastinating for some time now about getting a Tcheck 3 TCH tester, just so I can accurately test my budder and oil prior to dosing my cooking. I mainly just bake cookies which I take one or a half of, before bedtime. I have noticed a difference between batches of budder, so I really would like to get it down pat.

I noticed when I looked yesterday that Tcheck have a 20% off deal going at present, so I pulled the trigger on one of their basic units (didnt order the + Flower as that seemed a lot for what it was, and also I do have scales etc).

I'll do a review when I get the device, but for now I just wanted to alert you guys in case anyone was interested on a good deal. I have no affiliation to Tcheck, and I only know what I've read/viewed online.

Hi Lady Cannafan. To answer your question.....

I did get it, but I haven't used it properly yet. The thing is, I only got the basic model, as I will get the "flower testing" bits and bobs myself. If you buy the extended kit from Tcheck, its quite expensive for what you get (in my humble opinion), as you can easily source the syringes, alcohol, scales etc for much less. I haven't gotten around to this yet as I don't have any good flower to test right now. I did test just one batch of butter I made, but the results were somewhat surprising. It showed to be a very high percentage of THC, however, the actual potency is quite poor compared to previous butters I have made. I didn't want to post this result as I think something isn't as it should be.
I believe that I harvested the cannabis too early (no amber tric's), which was due to a seriously heavy storm/rain which knocked off a lot of the trichomes. I think what I might have is a high CBD content and low THC, which, if I am not mistaken, still shows up as a high THC using the Tcheck tester.
I'm not growing anything at the moment, as I may be going on a long holiday abroad soon, and so no one to look after things.
I do have some a range of new seeds I bought just waiting to be planted, and I will do a test of the resulting grows, but that might be nearly a year away sadly.
As far as the tester goes, it is a well packaged and presented unit, obviously well made and sturdy. Of course it wont come close to anything a $$$$$$$ laboratory can tell you, but I hope it will be able to give results good enough for accurate dosing. Again, I think however, that it sees CBD the same as THC (I could be wrong) and so if anything, it would err on the right side ie, it would give a potency reading higher than what it actually is if anything.
I do have one batch of butter that I "double infused", and I have yet to test that. That said, even that butter doesn't get me high, and the sleepy effects I'm after (I use it for night time rest) doesn't seem that great.
I hope this helps a little, and I'm sorry I couldn't give you results of a real proper test.

I am considering it, but it will take a while to save up the money. I already have all the extra "bits" available here, so it would be the basic model for me.

When you have the cash, hold out for a "special offer". I got mine when they did a "420 week" discount. Saved quite a bit.
Your caramels sound interesting. I'm simply adding a teaspoon of butter into hot chocolate when I go to bed. I used to make cookies and cake, but the calories and nighttime indigestion was not welcome.
I did think of making some really potent fudge, so that I only have to take a small amount. The current butter I have is far too weak (or simply CBD loaded). I'll get back into growing as soon as I can. Just got hold of a AC Infinity t4 fan, which Im going to set up in a 2x2x5 tent for a mother/clone plant. Thats my next project.
