A customer got more than he bargained for - a small bag of suspected marijuana - when he stopped the other night at a Lakewood restaurant to pick up food for his wife, police said.
The couple called police after they opened the bag of food and found the surprise inside, police spokesman Steve Davis said.
Police went to the Del Taco Restaurant, 5240 S. Wadsworth Blvd., and questioned the employee who had waited on the husband at the drive- up. The worker denied the marijuana was his, but a small amount of marijuana was found in a backpack in his locker, Davis said.
The worker, Dennis Klermund, 26, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, Davis said.
