Switching between LEDs to daylight daily?

Is it ok to switch light sources daily? I have been running the led light indoors at night. Then during the day I put it outside for Sun. I do it to conserve electricity & the led light. Plants about 4 or 5 weeks old and I noticed a pistol yesterday. But I am thinking that's just a preflower. Then i got to thinking too much and wondered if me switching light sources might be a problem?

I'm no expert but as long as yer in sun, not shade or really cloudy it shouldn't be an issue

Well.. I'm noticing more pistols coming out. This might of been an autoflower and I didn't know it.
