What's gonna be the routine for watering with LOS ie do you just water the top tier or water at every tier. I imagine you would want to apply drenches somewhat specifically? I haven't really thought too far into it...or maybe I'm over thinking it. :)

They should SWICK once they're in the big pot. As for drenches, I would be watering the entire tier setup, since the soil community would be living throughout. I'm still working through the particulars, but the scheduled soil "feeding" would benefit all of the soil.

I got what was called nursery azalea pots ..5-6" diameter ..:)

That's what I thought they looked like. They're a little squatty, right?

Im harvesting a few of these coffee or beer cup on 5" pots this weekend. Im impressed..true I impress easily with 420.. But a couple of them are nice sized and will be amazing. The terps on the big uninown one, planted
I think 12/26 changed the other day w less lemon, to berry after adding Epsom.
Dial a Terp..:thumb:

And Why not? Trace Mineral supplementation at different phases and subphases of both veg and bloom will change the terp profile and hence effects of the medicine...

Dial a Bud! :thumb:

The way your mind works Ziggy. Amazing!

I'm thinking I need to do something about building more soil before I spend any money on seeds. I can break myself into this perpetual garden tiered approach using freebie seeds from Herbie's and bag seeds I have. I think I have enough soil on hand to get started. Tomorrow I'll start an ACT to recharge it and let it cook for a couple weeks.

I've been putting together an order to my favorite soil building company. More Worm Power vermicompost and Pumice, that Agsil I've been after for forever, a small bag of TM-7 and a bit of seedling soil to get me started. There went my $100 budget, and well spent if I must say so myself.

Fancy seeds can come later. I have years to play.

Question: when playing with bag seeds how many is it recommended you start with, looking for females?

You should have seen me today. No adult supervision. I dragged a dining room chair outside, bought a new 8# sledgehammer and pounded some 8ft poles into the ground between the grapes. These poles will make a great wire based ladder for the leaves. However, that said. Ponder an old fat guy on a chair swinging a sledgehammer at a point above the eye level. Its a wonder I didnt fall off or fall through the chair, let alone actually drive 6 of these into the ground.

so that was today's nonsense.

I'm glad your guardian angel stood by your side. You probably would have appreciated him taking a few swings. :laughtwo::green_heart:

Honestly, considering my real hit with effort ratio, I am pretty sure an angel or two might have been leaning on the top of the hammer when I did make contact.

On compost. so, I have about 15 gallons of grass, weeds, decomposed old bark mulch and some papaya in a 16 gallon container. There is a bunch of worms in there. What all should I do? drill holes, water weekly? It probably weights about 100 pounds currently.

Depends on space, lights, pots, etc.. I pop an even number..say pop 4, if get male pollenate the others and have a unlimited experimental seed bank..and great meds. :thumb:
My seeded meds were as potent as non seeded meds..just a little less material due to seeds..and it is time consuming.
My 3 autos strains i made with Colloidal silver are kick butt...its the soil and kit of course..:)

Definitely drill some holes. Lots of holes. It's outside right? Those worms, and many more from your yard will swim back and forth and in and out and break all that down in time. Keep an eye on moisture. I wouldn't add any unless it looks like it's drying out. That shouldn't be a problem.

Have you ever thought about sinking some worm towers around your outdoor beds? Worth exploring aki. I can see how the challenge of creating healthy spaces for the worms would appeal to your scientific nature. Maybe sink some little cameras and monitor the worm comings and goings. Kids would be fascinated! :laughtwo:

So good to see you here aki.
