Super Skunk Auto, Ebb & Flow, 1st Time Grower, Custom Cabinet

So...a bit of an introduction is in order! I live in Northern Ontario and have severe nerve damage to put it nicely, that being said I may not be in shape to respond replies quickly. My LTD was being cut off and I knew I'd never be able to afford my medication therefore I decided to grow my own. After tons of research I began construction, which was a painful process, there were days when I'd turn the saw on, and the vibration would stop all work for the day. It took me months of dedication, and became my rehabilitation program. Construction is pretty much complete, just a bit of light proofing to do, but had to start my 1st grow, so 1st batch will be autos.

Grow space: custom built grow cabinet, 5 feet height, 4 of width. Inside is two DIY flood tables sitting over top a 75L reservoir (filled and marked to 50L ). From flood table to light there isn't much headspace, going to LST (and possibly super crop if need be). Trellis is in a box.
Mini humidifier and dehumidifier connected to controller (humidifier runs constantly and gets topped daily).
Ventilation: 6 inch fan hooked up to cheap filter (spare one ready to go). Exhausted to outside. On bottom under flood table is a 4 inch fan pushing cool air to oscillating fan, the intake on that fan is near the intake for the cabinet (which uses a intake filter). Pushing air from outside into the intake is an 8 inch inline fan (with reducers down to 4 inch). Both the intake and exhaust fans are controlled via temp controller (that is wifi enabled). Flood tables have lids holding 4 round 6 inch net cups.
Inside of both flood tables and resivoir are air stones. The air pump, lights, and water pump are all controlled via wifi smart power strip (programmable schedules). When fans turn off all ducting closes (spring pressure dampeners).
The only time the fans turn off is freezing outdoor temps and when its lights off.

Lighting: cheap Amazon LED light, rated for 2k with actual draw of 390W. Full spectrum blurple. On a 18/6 light schedule.

Media: 2 inch rockwool cubes submerged in hydroton pebbles.

Seeds germinated in rockwool, 100% success. Strain is Super Skunk auto feminized (indica dom). They showed their heads 6 days ago out of the rockwool. I believe I put them into the net cups with hydroton too early (2 days after sprouting they were 3 inches tall).

I checked them 4 days after sprouting and the roots were just poking out (see pic).

I've noticed that their leaves are drooping and growth seems a bit stalled, but it hasn't been long. I checked the rockwool and it felt a bit dry. Using a spray bottle I added some ph' 5.8 water (with calmag, and GH rapid start added in).
The other three I let be in case of over watering, other then placing a plastic bottle over another (to raise humidity which has been around 30% average). Plastic bottle and watering was done a few hours ago, waiting to see results.

(Edited for pictures)

Forgot to mention, this will be a grow using the Lucas Formula/ method (flora micro, and flora bloom, and calmag). On top of that they will be getting GH Rapid start, Rhino skin (silicone), and Diamond Nectar for humic acid.. Ph /up and down as needed.

So, its been a few hours now and after checking on the ladies I've come to the conclusion it was simply a matter of over watering. The two that were left alone (my "control samples") have perked up a bit, the one that I watered is very droopy now (time to leave her be for a while). I removed the plastic container, seemed to have held in some of the moisture keeping that one slightly droopy (it's the pic with probe beside). I also raised the temp slightly to 25C. It's cool outside tonight so the fans aren't having to work too hard!
I've also got some more clay pebbles soaking that will be added to fully cover the rockwool.

Welcome Rexer, nice job getting it done! Enjoy!
Thanks stoneotter!!

Day 7 since popping out of rockwool.

Avg temp 25C

So, just went and checked on the ladies, all but one are drooping. The one that's not drooping is the one next to the humidifier....I picked up a couple of plastic domes while out getting some essentials.

In lots of pain right now, will check back on them later (just put domes on and misted the inside).

When I got up this morning I found out that I missed one of the pump schedules to be turned off, therefore they got a watering early this morning.

Here's pics of the four of them and one with the plastic bell domes on.

If anyone has suggestions, please feel free to chime in, I've never done this before.

Thanks and stay safe and healthy folks!!

Day 7 part 2:

So just checked on them, they seem happier under the humidity domes!

Gave them a light watering by spraying the hydroton around the edges of the pot (well, that was where I was aiming lol).

I used a 4 liter jug to do my nute mix, then diluted down to 350 ppm. It consisted of:

2ML cal mag, 2 ml micro, 4 ml bloom (all general hydroponics), 6ml rhino skin, 4 ml GH Diamond nectar

Ph was at 5.8

Thanks Stoneotter! I'll keep adding the GH rapid starter in that case. Really appreciate your following and opinion!

Day 8:

Checked on them a few minutes ago (in person, I used the Pan Cam for a quick peek soon as I got up....no..no not obsessed at all!!). Still a slight droop, but all in all I think they're doing ok. First time growing cannabis, hope nothing I've done has stunted them too much.

Realized after reading Stoneotter's reply that last night I had forgotten to add rapid start to their feeding. Next watering/feeding will have some.

Took some more pics before putting the domes back on them.

And decided to do the hardest thing any grower can decide to do....nothing.

Evening feed check up time

Gave them each some water with same nute mixture, diluted to 256 ppm (after adding in some GH Rapid Starter. Ph 5.8

Right now I'm keeping the nute mixture in a jug in the kitchen by the salad garden with an airstone 24/7 in it.

Avg temp in grown cab: 25 C

Avg temp in the dome where I placed a sensor:
27.65 and peaked at a max of 31.38 C

Thanks!! Following your journal as well, sweet setup you got going on!!
Good morning Rexer. i'm using the same setup (almost identically as yours) with four plants as well. I am starting week four today. I'm going to follow along if you don't mind. Happy growing!

Day 9

Gave another feeding from same bottle from last night.

I think there is still a slight droop in some leaves, but things are moving along, so I'll continue to keep an eye on things.

Pro tip: whenever watering /feeding make sure you gently brush over the plant to give it a slight movement/quivering. Doing this stimulates the plant over time to make the stalk thicker. I have a lettuce plant growing out of a mason jar with a 1/4 inch thick stalk and I'm sure this has contributed.

Overnight average Cabinet temperature avg 25C

Avg temp inside one dome:
30.35C

And this morning/afternoon's pics:

So, the temp in the domes seem kind of high, I'd be interested in hearing anyone's feedback about turning down the cabinet's temp to in turn turn down the temp in the dome. Only reason I haven't is they dont seem too bothered by it (unless that's what's causing the slight drop in some?)

Stay safe and healthy folks while enjoying the Easter weekend!!

Your sprouts look strong Rexer! I like your pro tip in there too!
Thanks Stoneotter! Words dont convey the gratitude I have for all the input you've had, it's been very reassuring.
