Sunny’s Mini Medicinal Grow Show

Yo! They are getting crazy fast about deliveries!
:jawdropper:

I haven't ordered anywhere else in years...
:thumb:

Heck yeah they are! I think this order got to me faster then the first one did. Was amped to run the C99xBB fast on my next go around but after seeing in the thread about it throwing nanners I’m gonna save them for a outside grow next summer. Wonder if the butthole pheno you got is just a rare bird or are there others to be found

Aloha all,

Plants are moving right along as we approach the end of the first week of flowering. I’m still training them as they slowly stretch and they are filling in nicely. Keeping my nutrients at half the recommended strength and will slowly adjust as they progress. Hope everyone has a blessed day/night.

Aloha

Aloha all!

Just another small update in the garden. Plants were fed 1 teaspoon to a gallon of water of silica. I’m really liking the silica a lot and the plants seemed to respond well. I even use it regularly as a foliar feed (diluted) when training branches or post defoliating of leaves. Seems to help make the branches more supple and aid in recovery :high-five:

White Widow and Northern lights from ministry of cannabis are beginning to form calyx’s and push out pistils. These plants look identical to me even though they are supposedly different strains  One just got trained a little more aggressively then the other. Idk.. we will see as the weeks go on and if any differentiating traits appear.

Sending you all positive thoughts and vibrations

Aloha

Hey Sunny. I can see your silica supplement and that it is different to mine, but I can’t read a dose off that photo.
Mine I dose at 0.2ml/litre. If you are dosing at 1tsp/USgal that is almost 2ml/litre.
I want to check there isn’t a decimal point you’re missing and that you can measure accurately if you need to? You can get tiny syringes for this from pet shops, for feeding.

Aloha DD! The name of the brand escapes me right now but I’ll look again when I get home from work. I just go off the recommendation on the bottle. My water measurement for a gallon isn’t exact.. it’s a generous gallon in the bucket before I add anything to it. Kinda erring on the side of caution.

I’ve been using the ole lady’s measuring spoons since it also gives a ml measurement as well

aloha

Aloha @DonkeyDick This is the silica I’ve been using on the plants. $15 on amazon and I got enough to last me a good long while.

Also got this bloom booster from amazon as well. Gotta love amazon prime with free shipping even to a po’dunk small town I live in here in hawaii  :high-five:

Never used any bloom boosters before. Excited to see how it goes! In the past I always used strictly organic amendments and recycled soil in a rotation but now I no longer have space to do all that. Hope everyone is having a blessed day/night!! Aloha!!!

It’s n-p-k is 0-0-1 because it will be silica phosphate (that’s the K), but does it say 1tsp/gal I guess? Maybe the one I use is more concentrated, just seems strange to be 10x out.
:thumb:
Cheers Sunny

Aloha DD! Yes I believe the silica you have may be a bit more concentrated then the one I’m using. Recommendation on the back of the bottle is 5-7 ml per gallon of water. The n-p-k (nitrogen- phosphorus-potassium) is 0-0-1 so basically a direct supply of potassium to the roots to aid in water/nutrient absorption as well how the plant utilizes carbon monoxide during photosynthesis.

First for me to use silica in a grow as well as liquid nutrients. I always relied on what I had amended into the soil beforehand like the rainbow grow/rainbow bloom soil amendments and just fed straight water and maybe some molasses every now and again. Sending positive thoughts and wishing everyone a blessed and productive day! Aloha!!

Nice grow you got going there Sunny! I have that exact tent arriving on Monday. Four pots seem to fit in there quite nicely, are those 5 gallon pots in the back?

Aloha Hutch! Mahalo for stopping by! The pots in the back are 3 gallon but 4/5 gallon pots would fit perfect. I got some 5 gallon smart pots I plan to use with some Auto strains once this current grow is finished:yummy:

Sending you positive thoughts and hope you have a blessed day!!

Aloha All!

I’m really liking the Flower Fuel Bloom booster. Still running my organic nutrients from orga grow holland at half the recommended strength per my generous gallon of water (I fill my nutrient mix bucket at the same level and it’s More like a gallon and a quart.)

Orga root power 2ml
Orga healthy growth 5ml
Orga abundant flowering 5ml
Bloom city silica 5ml
Flower fuel 1/4 teaspoon
1 teaspoon black strap molasses

So far plants seem really happy :thumb:

I accidentally clipped off a main side shoot of the Northern Lights (faaaacck!!) but two small branches are starting to fill in. She kinda looks like a poodle that got a shitty hair cut from the groomer to me.. idk stoned observation I suppose.

Seedsman White OG and UK Cheese are really coming along nice!! Really like these genetics @SeedsMan Both display really strong growth so far and I’m excited to see the buds start to set in. All the plants are approaching the second week of flowering.

Aloha all,

I hope everyone is having a blessed
morning/evening where ever you may be on the globe...:Namaste:

I decided to bend the White OG to allow more light to get down around the lower branches. She is also showing preflowers so I’m pretty stoked :yahoo:

When do you guys/gals normally like to super crop your plants if at all?

I learning a lot on this grow and from this forum and members. I feel like I’m constantly on here reading lol.. Sending you all positive thoughts and vibrations *doubleshaka*

Aloha

I haven't tried to supercrop yet but I think I'll be learning before this current grow is done. Looks pretty easy, just requires a bit of courage.

No doubt Mr. Hutch I haven’t tried super cropping either. I think I was expecting a bit more stretch in these plants but that doesn’t seem to be the case

Hind sight is always 20/20 as they say and I could have vegged them longer to fill the space better. I might as well experiment with these plants and answer some of my own questions so I can be a bit more informed next go around.

Aloha

I finally made it over, Sunny. Looks good in here.
