I'm wondering if I run an 18/6 light schedule with the 6 off period being the hottest and brightest part of the day when sunlight is hitting the plants from the skylight, will this mess with them? Also will it mess with them during the times when they're getting both sunlight and HID lighting. Technically this will be 24/0...

No mate, will not be a prob at all. The only time it would course a prob would be if you were in bloom and the plants were getting hit with rays when its their night time. Good luck with um fella, HantsHaze.........
