Stealth rubbermaid grow

I found this setup on OG and then on other grow support sites and thought i'd see what people on here think of it. This is in no way an original idea of mine, but i could see myself setting up a scrog grow inside. Most of the time I see people using cfl's in there, but i would use a 150 watt hps. I just think its a really cool idea.

Looks stealthy and inexpensive!

150 HPS may work in there temp-wise.

With those pc fans, I like to use one of those power supplies where you can change to different voltages.

Then you can dial in your temps better, although with a 150 HPS in there, I'm thinkin' would probably keep it at 12v all the time.

I believe that is a computer fan. If this were my setup, i'd get a 6" inline duct booster fan to use as an exhaust.

That would make it a lot louder, but also a *lot* cooler.

Yeah, they are cut and stacked to provide enough height to grow.

Sitting in a corner of the the bedroom or garage, that would be very stealthy if you could keep the noise down and the light in.

That fan on top is a problem. I would have put it on the *backside* of the top box up high.

Yup. I plan on growing 2 or 3 plants to find a female. I will have cfls and exhaust fans on the back side.
I'll be posting pics in the next few days.

Alright, long time no update. I just found a nice new location and ran electric to the tote. I'll be putting my sprouts in today and i should have pics up shortly.

I have 7 plants now, they're just in peat pucks so i gotta go and get some dirt tomorrow. I also need to get another Y adapter to bring the total cfl lights up to 4. I'm still just running the 1 tote because the plants don't need the extra height yet. Oh, and i don't have an exhaust fan in yet, just a vent hole near the top on the side but there doesn't seem to be any heat buildup at all. I love cfl's. There are a couple sprouts that aren't looking too great right now. And, i'm not sure what i'm gonna do come Thursday, i'm going away till Sunday.

I need to go down and water the plants tonight. I also picked up some mids for a slep aid.

I got the bottom tote under there today, cut a hole and threw in a milk crate and ziptied in 2 fans for air movement.

lookin good dude, nice stealth setup. One thing i would do would be to put something to bring the plants a bit higher and closer to the lights. It looks like they're stretching pretty high.
