Starting a new AF seed - Top or LST or possibly both?

Hi all,

To date I have grown 1 plant, one atm is flowering, and another just got planted...

With my first 2 I just let them grow. Tall and lanky but successfully with not much bud.

For this new 3rd one I wanna try/do something different... and for that I ask your assistance.

I have been reading all morning and have come up with this...

Topping will create 2 new bud sites and make 2 new branches to grow from
but not necessarily create more cola sites. With LST I am seeing that you get
plenty more bud sites and much better lighting for the whole plant.

My question: This is an AF plant so some people say don't top and
LST might be ok to go with... if it was you what would you do?

Top it? LST it? Or try both and see what happens?

I mainly want more buds/colas but I believe topping
may also help with creating more branches etc.?

If you're not familiar with topping an auto, I wouldn't suggest it. You can do it. I just don't suggest it without a little more experience.

LST would be the best way to go. Bend her as she grows to expose more bud sites.

Post another vote for LST only. It's easiest for a new grower to accomplish.
