I am starting a 18 plant continuous harvest inside my small apt. I believe my flower room is perfect to flower 6plants in 5 gal fabric pots

I believe my cloner is perfect for rooting 6to8 clones as well

The reason for this post is my veg room....Im not sure I can veg 6 plants in short 3gal plastic containers for 6to8wks.....

I really need to keep things as low key as possible. Can y'all recommend anything ? Can I make this space work for 6 plants vegging for no more than 6to8 wks. Can I combine techniques to keep plants short and lower food intake ? I'm open to any suggestions

You can start the biggest 3 into flower while still vegging the other 3.
In fact if the flower room is empty you can veg a couple in there.
Then just flip when ready.
Cut clones when you move to the flower room.
But I’d be very diligent about my filter system.
You will smell up the entire floor when in flower.
Also I’d set up smoke detectors and get a big fire extinguisher just in case :Namaste:
I’ll follow along and help if I can.
Nice setup my friend. :high-five:
What are you putting in your pots? Coco?

Yes that's my biggest fear,I'm in a studio and the smell is a scary thought, especially since I living with the plants Im worried I could nose blind myself lol tons of neighbors too. yes I am planning on doing it like you said I'm at 16 plants 12 at week 6 so they should be showing soon, once I confirm I'll transplant 6 and flip then throw the rest back in the tiny room. I'm ffhf humus organics, meal worm and biotone molasses mix rn. I post pic I have compost toat too lol

Thank for the advice I appreciate you. Do you think I'll be able to veg with that lil cabinet?? Maybe if I mainline and only use blue light ?? I only need the plants to make it 6 to 8 weeks. For the flower room plants to finish. Then I could transplant to 5 gal fabric pots and flower them. Im aiming to continuously harvest around 1 lb every 2 months.

Get an extra 8" turbo fan hooked to a carbon filter and exhaust it out a window discreetly.
So nobody can tell what it is.
It'll create a negative pressure in your apartment.
Drawing air from the hallway.
Instead of leaking smell into the hall drawing unwanted attention.

Generally to run a perpetual grow efficiency is key.
Quick veg and quick flower.
I think coco in 3 gallon pots would be more efficient than soil in 5's
You get more growth in flower.
And better control.
Your not depending on your soil for nutrients that might or might not be available.
Soil is less work for you so I understand that.

I don't know if this is an option for you or something you'd be interested in but honestly running an auto's may be a great option. If you start them 2-3 weeks apart and find a strain that delivers say 60 days sprout to finish you could harvest a plant consistently. I have a friend who runs a continuous auto grow and turns out 2-4oz every 3ish weeks. Sprout in your small clone box and move them to your veg tent at a certain point. He has a 4'x2' tent and a small cabinet thing. It took a little trial and error but he's banging them out. The hard part is seed consistency but certain autos are much more consistent for him. I think that without a mother plant it's hard to get a constant flow of small clones that won't outgrow your spot.

Well shizzz....I def setup neg pressure in the flower room for that reason.......but I never thought about making my room/lung room negative pressure.....that sounds like an extremely good idea. I can easily set it as well I have 2 windows facing south(all day sun,I do not waste it either I have lots of other plants, bonsai, strawberrys, succulents etc) I wouldn't need to exhaust it if I put box fan in window either it would pull out anything that escaped my carbon filter(like chop day, trim day, bubble hash day, edible day,or just leaving tent open to gawk at my ladies day lmao) that's a great idea bro.I implement first thing tomorrow good looking bro👍👍🤝🤝

So you just nailed on the head,I'm doing a pheno hunt now w 18total photo period plants after they show sex I'm expecting at least 12 females 6 to flower 6 to veg for 60 days,. I will choose at least 3 mothers but now idk if I can house them .... I have never run autos ever and the inability to slow the autos down really scares me,puts me on the plants time instead of the plant on my time.(I have everything on timers and rh n temp connected to my phone,I work a 9 to 5 and then some) Plus I just don't think I'm that good yet lmao. I chose soil and semi organic feed methods for many reasons,I only feed plants with amended compost soil this amending means I can reuse this soil effectively for longer if recomposed n amended properly)for almost 60 days(give or take depending on how heavy a feeder the pheno is) I feed w biotone meal worm compost tea until they show sex. I then transplant allow plants to settle then slowly introduce feed according to transition stage then use both the soil amendments and ff trio to finish out the run(This makes it so my soil stretches further and my liquid feed lasts longer as well. Idk if it's called anything but I like to think of it as a lean semi-organic method) I think I'll grab a few auto seeds n just try messing around.

I just topped all the veg plants again..

I also took pics of a few of the plants whose growth structure, node spacing, leaf shape and stem thickness all caught my eye.....these ones seemed most promising so far

Also.....these plants are vibrant green ....they look yellowish becuse of my other plant lights, but I promise they green....I'd be stressing if they was looking even slightly unhealthy lol

Right on 👍. 60 days is a long veg you may end up with some monsters lol but give it a shot. I can't really tell how big your flower space is but in 60 days 2 plants will fill my tent 4'x2' tent in a 3 gallon pot. You may find less veg and more turn around is efficient like @Bill284 was saying. SOG is another option if you can keep your mother's alive and feeding you clones. This was my original plan and I kept my mother's in 1/3gallon bonsai pots (pain in the ass) for about 6 months but abandoned it and just started buying seeds, it was way easier lol.

For what it's worth when growing had to be done secretly here, I was taught that it's much easier to run smaller plants faster because long Veg was more time you put yourself at risk of being discovered. Also 1 giant harvest is harder to hide than a bunch of smaller harvests. With your current plan your looking at 120 days before your first harvest that's a long time to keep unwanted people out of your studio. I'm not saying don't go for it, it's just some life experiences I've seen and been through and stuff I've learned. Whatever you end up doing journal it so we can follow along because it's an interesting concept. Sending good vibes your way 👍.

Yea you guys def have a point,60 days is a long veg. I have been considering @Bill284 suggestions. Maybe I can pull clones a lil bit later so I only end up with 30 dayish veg. I also really like the bonsai mother plants as well(would save me so much space and I could keep in the open or blend w my other plants) plz lmk what the issues you experienced with the bonsai moms are , I'm very curious. My flower room is 4ft by 3ft by 10ft. I really like to get my ladies tall in flower,I usually end up with wal to wall nuggs, n about 3 to 4 ft plants(with 60 day veg) I've only ever used 5 gal n up to veg and flower. I have had much more room to work with for a long time. I don't think I can even water a 3 gal without messing up a few times lol but I think I'm gonna have to change things up for veg at least. The flower room good. I also work so I'm trying to minimize the time required to do the extra work of high volume growing. In terms of keeping a low profile I have lined the rooms with a plastic layer covered by a expensive af blackout fabric.(my room lack cabinet doors on all cabinets so I opted to use left over material and blend the grow rooms)

See looks like it's just a pantry n cabinets maybe. I am comfortable and can consistently pull a lb from a flower room this big,I just gotta figure this veg out....maybe some type of modification to the counter can help ? I really appreciate the suggestions, already has helped a lot fr

I also have a bit of a different method for my plant training in flower.....so when it's time y'all can lmk if I'm on to something.....or just retarded lmao
