Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

I've grown/growing three.....Scorpio grew at least one. Asesino grew one, InTheShed has a gorgeous one going right now. I know Blew Hiller has grown them as well as Orlando Scout and a possible a few others. I haven't heard anyone with a negative to say about it yet with the exception of Blew Hillers getting bud rot in his 98% RH greenhouse last year late in flower. So the strain isn't water proof. Aside from that.....it has appeared to be a very manageable (relative to height wise) Sativa and stable flowering strain with the limited sample size.

Congrats on the harvest. Looks like a decent haul there.
Thanks brother!

Long day with the girls today. I have been dreadfully neglectful of all of them while I have been in outdoor garden mode and I am paying the price. The fungas gnats managed to get a pretty good hold in most of the girls. Did a watering with rainwater and H2O2 at a 4:1 ratio on all the veg girls.

I Went APE SHIT with the yellow stickies as well cause Ima end this war real swift like. Man they can just wreck a plant from the bottom up if you don't pay attention.

Funny story as well. I know I have shared my technique of dipping with all of you a time or two. Well I was doing a round of dipping the girls in veg about 2 weeks ago and I thought I was finished. I cleaned up....turned off the light in the work area and went about the rest of my day. I had to go down stairs to grab something out of the fridge and I have a gut retching feeling something was wrong as soon as I got down the stairs.... SHIT....Forgot the last plant I had dipped. Left her sitting there in upside down in the 30 gallon trash can full of water for....oh about 8 hours or so. Lets just say that particular plant is NOT happy, pleased, amused, or anyways ok with what I did to her. Not sure she is going to make it.....luckily the buddy I got the cut from has offered to replace it should she not recover (still not looking good at all...but she is also suffering from some fungus gnats as well).

Let that be a lesson folks. Even when you think your shit is on cruise control...better slow down, take some time with the girls and make sure everything is going good. Its easy for things to go bad when you aren't vigilant! I know I say this a lot, but I honestly don't go into my flower tent often....once every 2-3 days usually. I stay out of there and let the ladies do their things. Thats fine and dandy until unwanted strangers crash the party and beat the shit out of your ladies LOL. I gotta start forcing myself to start going down and really paying attention to this grow with the fungus gnat infestation.

@bobrown14 I started cleaning up your girl for a photo shoot today until I saw the other plants were getting gangbanged by gnats. She's starting to flop and I need to dig out some bamboo pole and do some staking tomorrow. Gotta clean up a little bit of lower stuff and I will have some pics for ya brother. She is long over due! Luckily she wasn't hit very hard by the little bastards....but she also had a big tower fan blowing right over her pot. She just got 4 gallons of water so should be nice and perky tomorrow.

I posted this on the old journal and closed her out....but the final numbers for the Hawaiian reveg are in. She gave us 186 grams this time around. Much higher than I expected.....I thought it would be 4 ounces, maybe a little over. She has really dense nugs.

First time around she gave us 270 grams. So in total she gave us 456 grams off her in 8 gallons of soil. Man you can't really beat that. Thanks Beez. While she might have been one of the biggest pains in the asses to trim (next to the Harlequin and Nukehead #1), she made that work worth it. And my friends love her.

I think I am going to start doing more revegs in the future. I always thought there was a lot more juice left in our Stank Soil. We only did a few top dressings on her. Maybe add a small up pot in just for a little more juice.

All in all, very happy with how the reveg experiment turned out and I love having it as another tool in the tool box for keeping genetics around. I have a book on revegging by JB Haze, but I haven't read it yet. Gonna have to dig it out and take a closer look at it.

If I recall correctly, it was a rather tough clod of earth worm castings that did in the last shovel. Ya never know..

Exactly!!!!

See....we have faith indeed

Lol

Well we successfully mixed another 50 gallons of soil and managed to not break the shovel! All in all a good day.

Though I did tempt mother nature......and I paid until I repented LOL. True story......so I had the tarp laid out on the dirt driveway. I had all the stuff out there and I came out of the house with a full water bottle and walked to the tarp and as I step up I say "Ok God, no damn rain...ya hear me!". And instantly I knew I made a mistake LOL. I instantly apologized externally and scolded myself internally.

Yep...I shit you not....not 15 freaking seconds later it started to drizzle. Well there ya go Stank...way to bring additional components into the situation. Luckily it only drizzled and stopped about 30 minutes later.

Moral of the story...don't taunt God/Mother Nature when you are me! I consider myself lucky that it only rained for 30 minutes. I am notorious for invoking mother natures wrath.

Does the fact its got a composite handle of some sort give you any assurance?

Only if no rocks!

Are there rocks? Warrantee voided.

Rocks or not.

Rock the rock hard nugs, with ya.

Nice haul on the reveg. Congrats.
