yea i soaked them in tap water for about 36 hours.....they were kept in a grizzle dip can for all thoes years......

I had about 200 hundred beans and around 50 or so sunk to the bottom of the cup......so i put them in the soil and waited to see what happen.

out of the fifty beans i planted about half came up........after about 30 or so days i put them under the flowering lights and ended up with 15 females.......all of them have staggering branches.........the plants seem to be mostly sativa........i would say 60/40 leaning towards the sativa side

i have grown my share of beans and i have never seen this so dominate in a plant.

Everything looks normal so far. :goodjob: Are you flowering or still vegging.? Many people will love to read you are using 10 year old seeds, giving hope to all with over due seed collections!! I'm chewing Grizzly Right now. What a goof!

im about 3 weeks into flowering

U can show me better than u can tell me

Who and where? Shoot a link. If u'd like regurgitated info from some respected literature to back what I'm sayin I'd be more that happy to provide it. I don't know everything ,but I am familiar with my literary resources. Ultimately the proof is in the pudding.

My citation to back my claim in this thread on staggered branching

I read that and can't say that the individual was right or wrong, however I'm more inclined to go with a trusted published growers handbook. Its not called the bible for nothin. There are a few things in there that don't work for me (that I have tried, so this is not the only way.). I trust a known author's words over a member unless the member can show me exactly where the info came from and I can verify their credentials and track record. I often ask the question "how do their peers respect their opinion"? The people's who's advice I try to adhere to are consider authorities in this industry by many. with that said this is what I was referring to>
Code:
"Phyllotaxy changes when a seedling enters the flowering stage." ([I]Marijuana Horticulture: the indoor/outdoor Medcal Grower's Bible [/I] by Jorge Cervantes 62) "Growth patterns and chemistry change during flowering..." (Cervantes 62).
He is so on point I read that Ed Rosenthal tired to sue Cervantes for plagiarism or something along those lines on 13 occasions if I'm not mistaken. So yea I trust both of their advice. I have a book co-penned by Ed from the 70s that's how long this dude's been around.

then how do my veg plants have staggered branches? please explain, thanks.
