Heyup all!
Sorry I'm going to fill up the frequently asked section at this rate!
So as the heading suggests I'm looking into an irrigation system. I'm currently in 40ltr pots but will be reducing this down to around 30ltrs. Anyway I currently hand water but looking to go away in the year and want to plug something up that's automated, get it tried and tested before then.
I would like to simulate my hand watering. Normally around 4ltrs every 2/3 days. I don't like the look of Drippers as it only waters a smaller area so I'll be using the ring like sprayers in the picture.
10 plants over a 4x8 tent. My questions are:
1. How do I get all 10 drippers to water the same amount, as the pressure will surely change the further down the system they are.
2. How do you work out the size of pump that is required?
3. I'll be using a reservoir, I'll pre-mix the nutrients but when I aerate my res my PH drifts so, how do you keep the res fresh with nutrients in it?
4. Recommend a timer, pump and pipes I'm in the UK.
Cheers!!
