Soil top up

I want to top up my soil for the purpose of easier training. But Ive ran out of my good soil. All I have is some miracle grow knocking about. Should i go out and get more of my good soil or will this be ok as its just a top up?

I would think anything in the MG would leach down into your good soil.
For me, I'd get more good stuff, you'll use it eventually anyway wouldn't you?
