I just bought some scotts premium garden soil. and some water soluble vigora all purpose plant food 24-8-16. Do you think my grow will turn out fine? also how often do I feed and how much

use a potting mix instead of garden soil. make sure it has perlite. does that plant food have trace elements? Its high in N, good fore veg, not required for flower. phosphorous desired for flower.
are the nutrients liquid? Follow instructions, dilute by 0.5 then water when dry. feed only once a week if liquid. if solid, mix some up in the soil so the roots can uptake.
