I use 30% perilite...30% vermiculite...and 40% wormcastings in my soil mixture along with feeding my plants alsakan fish ferts (both veg--5/1/1 and flwr--0/10/10 and I also use bloom buster 0/10/10 during flwring...been growing for a little while now and my plants do pretty well. I don't know if the way that I'm growing is consider soil or hydro...I water (when young) a couple times a week and when in the flwring stage (by now I've moved them to 3 gallons) about once per week (manually)...so my question is, is this considered soil or hydroponic growing.

Maybe a version of hydro called soiless container growing...if you did several feedings a day, limited total run off to 10% and ran to waste it would be full hydro

sounds like soil...i guess i always think of hydro having a pump cus id never remember to water every few hrs personally
